What they need is a white elephant sale.

SEO Tipped as a buy by British bulls.

Stanelco PLC
Daily Commentary

Our system posted a BUY CONFIRMED today. The previous SELL recommendation was made on 14.12.2006 (50) days ago, when the stock price was 1.0900. Since then SEO has gained 23.85% .

BUY-IF is confirmed by a white candlestick with a higher open. The buying price is taken as today's open ( 1.3400 ) according to the Rules of Confirmation.

The recent bullish formation leading to the BUY-IF signal is confirmed today. The market seems ready for a new bullish move. It opened today with a gap-up and the days activity resulted in a close higher than the open. This is one of our valid confirmation criteria.

The significant failure of the previous SELL signal is unfortunately confirmed too. Our shot went away this time. It is a fact that such signal failures are more unlikely for higher rated stocks, but it is not possible to deal with all the vagaries of the stock market. The signal system, however, continues to do an excellent job in the overall, despite such failures. This can be seen easily with a quick glance to the signal history table.

We hope that you bought this stock and still have the chance to profit from the later phase of the bullish attack. Today you were supposed to watch the upward gap in the opening, wait a bit, feel the bullish tendency of the market making sure that prices stay over the opening price and then go long. Your benchmark was the opening price of the upward gap.

If you bought, continue to hold this stock until the confirmation of the next SELL-IF signal. You are on relatively safe grounds as long as the future prices continue to trade above the benchmark price and if an emergency warning is not issued. What to do if you did not buy? Maybe, you did not have time to follow the session or you simply delegated the delicate job of confirmation to us. Well it is a bit late, but not too late. You may still find suitable prices for buying in the following sessions and still profit in case of a sustained bullish move.

The market is currently cold for short-sellers. Avoid any short sales and cover the short positions immediately if there are any. We erred significantly on the short side last time, but we are sure that you may easily cover your losses (if any) by basing your future trades on our signal system.

Candlestick Analysis
Todays Candlestick Patterns:
High Wave

Today a High Wave was formed. This implies a loss of sense of direction and that there is a great amount of indecision in the market.

Tea leaves are a better indicator than British Bulls.

This thread is a follow up from all the information posted on this thread:

The story for Stanelco PLC (LSE:SEO) may well be accelerating behind the scenes, as Wal-Mart's Packaging Scorecard goes live to 60,000 suppliers on 2nd February, and Stanelco products appear on that Website (see the posts on this via the link above).

Also Stanelco PLC products appear on the Marketgate Packaging Scorecard Website, which is like the Wal-Mart Scorecard Website, but is a GLOBAL site, not restricted to Wal-Mart buyers or suppliers, it is a products showcase for low carbon products like those from Stanelco PLC.

The files on the 3 links below show the main list of raw materials, plus a detailed specification of Stanelco's bioplastic, and a specification of Natureworks PLA as a comparison, and anyone can see how Stanelco's bioplastic is a much more impressive product, it also has a lower cost, and gets a higher score on the system :)

All raw materials - [www.stanelco.devisland.net]

Stanelco Bioplastic - [www.stanelco.devisland.net]

Natureworks PLA - [www.stanelco.devisland.net]

You've heard of climate change right ?

These products are what the packaging industry will be using by choice to combat climate change in their industry, it is also good economics as the cost of bioplastics is now in a position to take big market share from oil based plastics, thus reducing the reliance on oil, as per G.W.Bush's remarks.

This is ethical investing at a time when the world needs these products ASAP, but rather than hold the world to ransom, Stanelco will sell their products at a discount to the oil based products that are causing climate change !

The Wal-Mart Scorecard Website has been updated recently too, only a few days until it goes live for 60,000 suppliers to input their scores, still in 'demo' mode but looking good :)

And here we have Stanelco products (Starch, Starpol 2000, Starpol 3000, Starpol Wrap 100) still listed very nicely at the top of the page, the first place anyone looks when opening the page :)

Were's Greenseal ?

tweenie - 05 Feb 2007 10:26 - 23479 of 27111

nice find driver.
I still think theres a long way to go down this road for this company but I think slowly but surely the roadworks are being removed and the lights are turning green.
;-)

stockdog - 05 Feb 2007 10:32 - 23480 of 27111

hope they remembered to backfill first!

greekman - 05 Feb 2007 10:51 - 23481 of 27111

Yes Driver nice find.
A few months ago an article such as this would have seen the sp rocket.
Having been bitten so many times it looks like us punters have learned a lesson as far as SEO are concerned and are waiting for 100% solid news. Hopefully not long in coming.

lizard - 05 Feb 2007 11:37 - 23482 of 27111

whats going on with this co?

stockdog - 05 Feb 2007 13:32 - 23483 of 27111

NOTHING

moneyplus - 05 Feb 2007 14:24 - 23484 of 27111

Looks as if the institutional investment is in the driving seat and beginning to pay off. I hope so as I've averaged down now-hopefully I will regain my losses on this one this year.

waveydavey - 05 Feb 2007 14:36 - 23485 of 27111

left off posting as he site was just reguritaing old news and full of ankle chewers.
I still don't think that this share will rocket again.
Too many pi's have been burnt.
I do believe that if there is positive newsflow and mre importantly they actually sell something ..... thn we will see a slow but steady increment in he sp.
I still won't be topping up or even consider doing so ahead of the interims. I WILL expect there to be some good news then, or any rise up till then by speculatorswill take a nose dive.
It's easy to be critical of this company , but as others have said , what the big supermarkets want from their suppliers, is what they will get.
Walmart want packaging from stanelco............... enough said.
I'll crawl back under my rock.
Let the Bitching begin.
Good luck to all the regulars.

halfamil - 05 Feb 2007 19:44 - 23486 of 27111

I don't think the PI's will influence the sp one way or another. We're far too small.

EWRobson - 05 Feb 2007 20:51 - 23487 of 27111

You'll have to change your name, halfamil, as curently you are only worth 7000!

stockdog - 05 Feb 2007 21:01 - 23488 of 27111

Hi Eric - just thinking it's nice to be up 75% on SEO - if only the part we bought recently. Every cloud . . .

Can you put a rocket under DGT please, need some funds for elsewhere!

qtheman - 05 Feb 2007 21:35 - 23489 of 27111

Interesting to see that the great green/ethical?? company that is ASDA is the first UK supermarket to bring in US size zero clothing. For me its a pretty good indication that they ain't interested in ethics, only making money and unless packaging is cheaper they ain't going to care one iorta.

Q.

greekman - 06 Feb 2007 07:38 - 23490 of 27111

qtheman,

I agree big business is only interested in profit. Ethics as you say does not come into it, but that does not matter. It's the customer that counts in the final analysis.
If the customer wants green, then Asda and every other similar business will be scrambling to give them what they want. Supply and demand, demand and supply.
Yes, they only care about ethics, if ethics translates into cash.
