maestro, if my memory is not deceiving me, wasn't it you
who was active in organising the Grosvenor Square protests
during the Blair era?
Hope you are well despite the setbacks.

Yes - I know what you mean, I remember being introduced to the West country in the early 1970's in one of these - that was bad enough on the country lanes.

Maestro, I got the Grosvenor Square bit wrong but the name right.
I remember you posting a lot on the orher side about
the Iraq war protests and, I think, it was you who posted
a cinema type poster with Blar riding piggyback on Bush's
shoulders. I have tried to find a link to that poster-cartoon
without success. Skinny gave me a link to
such stuff a while ago, but it was not there either.
Anyway, I am pleased to hear you're well healthwise. Hope the
van is well-heated.

~Problem with small van like that are running costs.
Fuel consumption and Insurance colossal, repairs and maintenance colossal.
(not ex-wives)
I have one, but in the summer on the continent with kids marvellous.

You could always suggest going back to her place, you never know she may also live in a camper and it could be the start of a wonderful relationship.

maestro - sorry to be such a dog in the manger, but why does misfortune always have to be someone else's fault?
though i do not recollect the full facts as you portrayed, most times, the "victim" often only has himself to blame at least partially, having made a bad or too risky a decision or choice at the time
a bit like losing your shirt on the markets

There are plenty of naturalist camp sites in the UK where you will meet plenty of the opposite sex in the flesh.

I'm surprised you didn't catch your death. Anyway how did you get onto a naturalist beach with your clothes on then?
