Welcome to MoneyAM

Bullshare - 22 Jan 2003 20:35

Welcome to MoneyAM.

Today sees the launch of MoneyAM, a bright new financial website for the smart investor. Our aim is quite simple: we aim to become the UK's leading web-based supplier of shares related content and data.

Streaming real time share prices, up to the minute portfolios, live city news, email alerts, bulletin boards, company fundamentals plus expert analysis supplied by the same award-winning team of journalists, analysts and researchers that produce Shares Magazine every week. These are just some of the great features that MoneyAM provides free to anyone who registers on the site.

Our premium paid for services are compelling and competitively priced and a must for the serious investor/trader. Unlimited level 1, FTSE indices, alerts, Premium market scan tools and the Traders Room (Bulletin Board) are just some of the extras on offer. Level 2 services will be coming to MoneyAM very soon!!!

We hope you enjoy using the site.

Regards

Mike Boydell
Managing Director

Big Al - 11 Feb 2019 14:14 - 237 of 294

It's only a number, Spacie!! Good to see you putting g your head above the parapet. I've probably posted more recently than in the last 10 years. Had a whole bunch of other stuff going on, but now have more free time and back trading far more frequently than I was.

Hope you're keeping well, and you M!

BTW folks, still not seen some of the other regulars (as was) turn up.

Hi Al glad to hear your enjoying a bit of free time, I don't really trade at all any more, I realised that the less I traded the better I did, I was playing with crypto a bit but that hasn't been easy recently so I am not doing that either. Retired in 2016 taking it easy now doing not very much planning some big motorcycle trips this year though.

Yep Spacie, am retired too I guess. Keep getting offered contracts and keep turning them down. Trading good so will trundle along with that and my other ill-gotten gains. 38 years in the oil business is surely enough. It's been a blast, but now time to visit places I haven't been. First stop next month is actually Iran. Clearly my sense of adventure has not waned and I don't expect it to for a few years yet. All the best with the bike trips, mate.

Stan - 12 Feb 2019 21:23 - 245 of 294

Funny you mentioned Iran BA as I briefly flerted with the idea, only doing it by Coach but as you can see it never got off the ground.

Martini - 12 Feb 2019 21:48 - 246 of 294

Go for it Stan. Let us know when you will be in Iran.

Stan - 12 Feb 2019 22:25 - 247 of 294

Are your initials BA? No I thought not.

CC - 13 Feb 2019 11:47 - 248 of 294

£130 to Pakistan. A peak ticket to London costs more than that!

Stan - 13 Feb 2019 11:53 - 249 of 294

That’s what I thought CC, all water under the bridge now as the service never got up and running, obviously for security reasons.

Dil - 13 Feb 2019 12:10 - 250 of 294

I blame Brexit.

It's amazing who is still alive and kicking. The closure is bringing us 'fossils' to the surface...

Big Al - 14 Feb 2019 10:34 - 253 of 294

Bugger the coach trip, Stan!!

Big Al - 14 Feb 2019 14:11 - 254 of 294

jj - nice to see you around. You still down the road from me?

Stan - 14 Feb 2019 16:11 - 255 of 294

I know what your saying BA and that was true about long distant older coach travel, but having done a few long return journeys in the last 15 years or so to Copenhagen, Krakow and Berlin I can say the relative comfort compared with years before was considerably better.

With plenty of stops and again the relative quality of Motorway service stations on the Continent compared to the general rubbish on this side of the Channel makes the stops actually something to look forward too.

Further more I regard the actual journeys to a destination as part of my holiday as chatting to people from different Countries and Cultures is something I enjoy, Social Anthropology being one of my many interests.

Better to Travel than Arrive one could say.
