How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Still money available to back Chelsea for the title. If they beat Fulham on Saturday and Arsenal fail to win the title is theirs. I've lumped 50k on Chelsea at varying amounts and may probably hedge a little out just in case but it looks a remote prospect to be honest.
The max points Arsenal can get are 86 so with Chelsea on 82 they need only another five to be sure mathematically. If Man U win all their remaining matches they would only equal Chelsea's points.

Goblet of fire just got me out of a hole - had a big loss on alikat from when they pulled the third favourite out and the favs odds fell disproportionally

That was a pain. It's worth noting actually that for a rule four at less than 2.5% Betfair don't adjust the market. I am now out of the money on Lannigans Lock.

The worst thing is scrip, from a horses point of view, it was a paul nicholls horse that fell and a martin pipe horse that profited - a swing of 16k - the trainers championship had 3k in it before and ends tomorrow - could well cost nicholls the chance of his first ever title and pipe will win his 15th!!!
