ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

they will

cynic - 05 Feb 2009 11:30 - 2364 of 5941

be punished or exceed expectations? ..... you can't possibly know! ..... all guesswork and gut feeling

tomasz - 05 Feb 2009 12:12 - 2365 of 5941

well , if any problems , big guys will know that right now , and never buy it , don't you think?

cynic - 05 Feb 2009 13:20 - 2366 of 5941

no .... if that was so, how come so many investment funds and similar have been cleaned out?

tomasz - 05 Feb 2009 22:46 - 2367 of 5941

cause its hard to get out when it comes to billions without setting alarm or panic , isn't it?

cynic - 06 Feb 2009 07:30 - 2368 of 5941

be honest .... the fund managers screwed up big time! ..... most have little better idea than you or i

tomasz - 06 Feb 2009 08:16 - 2369 of 5941

i would be scared to not loose people billions would't you?

SEADOG - 06 Feb 2009 08:19 - 2370 of 5941

tomasz
certainly not. Especially if I was going to get a fet bonus for doing it !!!!!! SD

cynic - 06 Feb 2009 08:20 - 2371 of 5941

they were obviously not scared enough! ..... actually, i doubt that account managers regard the funds as real money except when it comes to calculating their fat bonuses or belatedly worrying about their jobs

tomasz - 06 Feb 2009 10:26 - 2372 of 5941

they scared about looses but not scared enough and to much bonuses.that 's for sure.but all in all it is still not that easy moving billions , isn't it?

Maggot - 06 Feb 2009 22:03 - 2373 of 5941

Looks like it went up recently.

WOODIE - 07 Feb 2009 19:14 - 2374 of 5941

Rumour of the day

Nick Robertson, Asos chief executive, said he is weeks away from signing a deal with a tier one high street fashion retailer to bring its products to the site. Speculation is on Sir Philip Greens Top Shop or Debenhams, which has a high proportion of own-brand fashion. Asos, up 5p at 290p, shrugged off the threat of Tesco selling fashion online

cynic - 08 Feb 2009 08:23 - 2375 of 5941

WOODIE - 08 Feb 2009 12:49 - 2376 of 5941

first article i have seen of it was yesterdays times, were did you read it before that cynic?

cynic - 08 Feb 2009 12:51 - 2377 of 5941

don't remember offhand

tomasz - 09 Feb 2009 09:18 - 2378 of 5941

good aricle woodie

cynic - 09 Feb 2009 09:41 - 2379 of 5941

the smart money would almost certainly to be to buy (if warranted) after the results ..... unless they are super-stunning, sp will almost certainly fall as at least an initial reaction - i.e. holders will lock in profits and/or results will disappoint to a greater or lesser extent

tomasz - 09 Feb 2009 11:28 - 2380 of 5941

well cynic you didn't discover new world. what comes up must come down :)

cynic - 09 Feb 2009 11:31 - 2381 of 5941

the reverse is not necessarily so however - lol
confess i may have got this all wrong so far, so in a bit of a quandary

tomasz - 09 Feb 2009 11:54 - 2382 of 5941

the reverse will be, cynic . they looks like buying the rumor again and selling the news, like christmas update
