RTD - Why? (RTD)

Nitefly - 15 Sep 2003 10:55

Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Best of luck all.

Folks - I've just started a new thread for Mediwatch, because the old one was hugely outdated and the original poster appears to be long gone. It looks as though the RTD thread is suffering from the same problems.

Let me know if you want me to create a new thread, so that we can at least see some charts for a change.

overgrowth and Parveen. I feel the sameway about RTD and although in the distant past I did sell a lump at its height I was astute enough (Astute means lucky) at 5 selling a few at about twenty and buying back a little lower I will probably be a longterm holder and have bought some in sipps for two of my kids. Stop losses although I keep harping on about them I find in some types of shares a little more difficult to implement especially those with wide spreads and small market sizes also basic thoughts about why and what I expected from the share when I bought it. I beginning to realise I know less about the market now than when I started buying shares, but thankfully seem to be making less expensive mistakes. Now that I have written this watch the Market drop to-morrow.

Yes please OG a thread with charts would be very helpful the MDW one youve done is much better.

Fundamentalist - 13 May 2005 11:24 - 2368 of 2406

OG

If you do start a new thread could you please put a link to this one in the header - at results times i like to go back and read how people were reacting the previous year

still on the sidelines, will get back in, just not convinced there isnt slightly further to fall first based more on general market conditions than company specific. The other factor that concerns me is what will happen if whoever is mopping up all the RI sales as has been going on recently stops doing so as most RIs dont seem to be buying at the moment.

good luck to all who continue to hold

parveen1 - 13 May 2005 11:25 - 2369 of 2406

If they are paying you more than the bid price for your shares

They want them badly.....

Look for another big buy at the end of the day

parveen1 - 13 May 2005 11:26 - 2370 of 2406

zscrooge - if you're talking about the new thread, follow this link (it's been there for some time so there are plenty of posts already):

Nitefly - 08 Jun 2005 12:37 - 2379 of 2406

Why have you started the new thread? This was working fine and now people are confused - there is far more history in this one. I read what you said about the graphs but not everyone wants the graphs and if they do then they are only a button away. As far as you stating I'm not around anymore, I did post saying I didn't hold any RTD atm and so wouldn't be posting, but I would post again once I did hold some. Many if not all threads are not dependent on the original poster? it's what history is in the thread that counts.
