Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Seems many are as detached from general opinion as the the party they follow
Local election results will be indicative of Lib dems, Ukip and Tories support.
Still think and Urinal would be a more suitable memorial for The Lady. At least it would be useful.

cynic, re the ongoing T Woods saga - it's not the first time the rules of golf have been manipulated in his favour. Great play by both Cabrera and Scott.

Regarding Augusta, I think Woods should have disqualified himself, the rules are clear on this one. It would of at least shown that he was trying to maintain a level of honesty and integrity nowadays.

exactly so shortie ..... the logic behind the committee's decision looks more than a little suspect (total fudge!), exacerbated of course by tiger's ready admittance that he knew exactly where he had dropped the ball relative to his previous shot
no plaudits for either the committee nor mr woods i'm afraid

Love the picture. My wife and son both play in brass bands. I have sent it on and I am sure that soon there will be hundreds of brass band players getting it as it is passed on.

Does that mean Walt Disney is making a bio film of of Mrs T? They must have realised how popular that would be.

They could base it on witches and wizards.
Could be a great send up.

Skinny,
I thought you were older than that.
What are you taking?
Is Alzheimer's kicking in with you, as you seem to be repeating yourself?

Lynda Carter could play Mrs T. and Worzel Gummage for Michael Foot. I can't think of any actors stupid enough to play Scargill or Kinnock.

Maybe they should close public offices and give kids a day off school so they can watch the most important funeral they will probably ever see.

most important funeral - hardly! .... and other than showing one's respect (singularly lacking in some quarters) it is but the marking of someone's short journey through this life

Holidays for kids, what will the Nasty Party stoop to in order to get liked by some?
---------
Bye the way, when they get back from their holiday they will probably find their schools have been sold off.
