Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Fred
It matters not a jot who started the thread and there is no arbitrator on the thread other than MAM.

Nightmares,
Not up to your usual standards.
Bad day at work?
You must have gone down a bomb with some of your boyfriends at school.
Are you still missing them?

Just listened to Dave Gilmour - Shine on you Crazy Diamond unplugged - now Elgar - Enigma Variations - a nice way to close down a banal Monday evening.

hilary -that mono-mankini looks singularly uncomfortable to wear .... whereas good quality girlie underwear can be very sexy, without getting fetishist about it, i can't see your addition to the male wardrobe as being remotely any kind of turn-on .... perhaps you'll tell us otherwise :-)
hays - poor little Red Fred feels (correctly) that he has been sent to coventry perhaps to join his mate Red Robbo .... wonder why that should be, and such a shame too .... i'm sure you'll commiserate .... very happy to divert into a discussion about wine
i assume your kind company put you through at least the early stages of the Wine and Spirits Trust course .... i did a little of that in my 20s and it really is very good and interesting .... Oddbins used to do that for their staff
i was very lucky to be introduced to decent wine at quite an early age, and my chance change of career (running a brasserie) from 78-85 allowed me to buy fine wines cheaply - e.g. 1970 Taylor's at £35 c/s dpd!
since then, i have consistently added, but now find myself in the (un)fortunate position of having quite a lot of very good stuff that needs drinking .... being reluctant to sell it - despite the price it would fetch, i bought it to drink not as an investment - i try to share it with friends

Athletes and fans have been caught in two horrifying explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

The training was very good. The company had two masters of wine on the staff. The training centre was used by other companies in the trade. The parent company was Bass Charrington. The company had exclusive rights to sell all the Bacardi, Gancia, Ruffino, Chateau Baron Philippe, Mouton Cadet, Sandeman and many others.

Manuel,
Drinking that beverage with friends should take you quite a long time.
Perhaps, you should try and get somebody from your lobby, or perhaps another of your fellow travellers to join you in a toast to maggie on Wednesday.
====
But you could have another go at starting a different thread.
Your last one based on your expertise as cook didn't seem to be too busy.
Perhaps, you can revive it with a drop of brandy.
