ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

No its OK.

Apparently the yacht club is very much into that!

cynic - 09 Feb 2009 14:14 - 2390 of 5941

certainly if the commodore has a naval background, i'm sure he'll be well used to setting up the flogging triangle and arranging the necessary

dealerdear - 09 Feb 2009 14:21 - 2391 of 5941

Good with knots I hear ..

although I have to confess it does concern me cynic that you appear to know the terminology ....

cynic - 09 Feb 2009 14:42 - 2392 of 5941

when you are as old as me, you find you know many things about many things, but not a great deal about anything

cynic - 09 Feb 2009 15:18 - 2393 of 5941

ASC has been interesting to watch today ..... sp has varied quite a lot with spread ranging from the normal to the perverse, or even perverted!

lelael - 09 Feb 2009 15:35 - 2394 of 5941

Can you give any reason why the spread is changing so much, I was just pleased we had broke thro 300 and had not watched what was going on, as I already hold.

cynic - 09 Feb 2009 15:48 - 2395 of 5941

no real logic other than prob position on MMs books

lelael - 09 Feb 2009 15:51 - 2396 of 5941

Thankyou, looks very strong again now but only small trades.

tomasz - 12 Feb 2009 10:53 - 2397 of 5941

looks like ready to dive

cynic - 12 Feb 2009 11:11 - 2398 of 5941

would suit me of course, but very hard to know what will happen ..... markets look pretty soft all round, gold miners and bullion excepted, and BoE and others are still predicting much tougher times ahead for UK

tomasz - 12 Feb 2009 16:16 - 2399 of 5941

cynic you know where is good to go short for asos?

cynic - 12 Feb 2009 16:31 - 2400 of 5941

you mean how to open a short position?
you need someone like IG Index

tomasz - 12 Feb 2009 16:40 - 2401 of 5941

never been there before , most have no chance for aim listed compan. just big ones , thanks cynic

cynic - 12 Feb 2009 16:47 - 2402 of 5941

not true ..... you can short either with s/b or CFD .... applies to all companies with cap >10m and sometimes smaller ..... AIM or main market matters not

tomasz - 12 Feb 2009 16:52 - 2403 of 5941

many many thanks

Maggot - 16 Feb 2009 11:28 - 2404 of 5941

Just sold almost half at 324 for a 26% profit. Exoerience tells me that after a good rise there's usually a fall and I have realised the secret to making a profit is not to be greedy.
