Been back in for a while, Tweenie.
And please give me credit for a little more savvy than to try and ramp with that story. If I wanted to ramp, I am sure I could do much better than that. (Wonder if SEO have a vacancy for Sales Director) ;-)
Rally? Not IMHO. Miracle?? probably not. Something to savour in the results? Could well be.
If there is nothing good in the results, then with the amount of positive rumour and whisper from so many different sources, we are in the midst of a conspiracy worthy of a Maestro thread.
Just IMHO, DYOR and WTFDIK.

Alan,
Fact....I read a report several years ago that the Ministry of Defense was looking into none metal tanks. Also at the same time scientists were predicting that in the not too distant future, just about anything that is made of metal for strength qualities would be made of a similar material to plastic.
If you look at Kevlar, who would have believed about 20 years ago that a woven material could stop a bullet.
Who knows by 2020, motor vehicles, planes, ships etc may all be made of a plastic type based substance.
I appreciate there are already, none metal bodied cars, but the Japanese a few years back were experimenting with a none metal engine. I have no idea of the outcome and have heard nothing since.
So I foresee, Chinese wrapped Starpol products, packed in frogpack containers, being carried in a container ship made from corn based bio degradable material, welded together by Greanseal (SEO produced obviously), sinking and being environmentally friendly all at the same time.
OK I don't swallow your post, but as you did clearly state you did not post it as fact.
It was good for a laff though, and this post is NOT intended to take the mick, as the first paragraph was fact. Believe it or not!

Actually I'm not so sceptical -I think the new management at seo have many new possibilities up their sleeve! we'll just have to wait and see-not long now.

Erm, what, precisely, do they think bullets are for??
Pass the medication please nurse.

Its like asking people administering a lethal dose of drugs to use a sterilised needle!!
And something else that is strange, why some people who are completely blind turn on the lights when they go into a dark room?!?

It will be a step forward to have a big war and not damage the environment , perhaps add loads of compost and help next years crops. Stanelco could be the biggest arms dealer around....

Volume not large enough to warrant concern at the moment IMO.
I am looking for it to sink to 1.1p offer then I'll be silly enough to put some fresh cash in for a wee punt.
Could still be the reaction to the Times report that full-year loss of 5.7m as mentioned on another BB.

My view for what it's worth.
I think it is down to a bit of the pre result jitters.
Also as someone said, the end of the tax year is almost upon us.
For those who believe the results will extend any losses they hold, some may be looking at balancing against any CGT.
This share is and has always been a high risk gamble.
Hopefully the odds will be well on the up of a good investment after the results.
There may well be a circle of people who realy know, but they are all SEO management, those close to, or associated with and that don't include me.

As Garble says volume is minimal only traders and PI's.If the volume were to go to 100m and the price to fall significantly then I would be more concerned ,so a buying opportunity.

Missed the Times piece (which day was it?) but a loss of 5.75m is neither here nor there; good in fact that it spend is up on last year as demonstrates commitment! The key point in relation to the short term price is what is said re the future. Clearly, hard orders is what we want to see, but we also want to see 'realistic optimism'. My own view is that it is only a matter of time before real progress is seen. They have bought themselves a year or so by the fund-raising but have effectively had to make something of a clean start, people-wise. OK, the comments might be cautious but the key thing is that they retain the confidence of the major investors who have supported the 're-launch'.

Eric,
It was mentioned on the other side. I didn't follow it up as I wasn't particularly bothered. Could very well be someone being silly over there....as usual. It was also in conjunction with the supposed SEO news release on the 12th but as someone also pointed out, could have simply been a typo 21/12!

Eric/Garyble et al
It was yesterday's Times; they thought results were yesterday and said that Analysts tip a pretax loss of 5.7m, from a 3.2m loss last time.
I had estimated a larger loss so will be happy if it is only 5.7m. It is expected so does not bother me, I am more interested in NEWS! Today's few sells are down to a bit of panic by those not looking at the bigger picture IMO. No obvious institutional selling = good news ahead, again IMO.
