Missed the Times piece (which day was it?) but a loss of 5.75m is neither here nor there; good in fact that it spend is up on last year as demonstrates commitment! The key point in relation to the short term price is what is said re the future. Clearly, hard orders is what we want to see, but we also want to see 'realistic optimism'. My own view is that it is only a matter of time before real progress is seen. They have bought themselves a year or so by the fund-raising but have effectively had to make something of a clean start, people-wise. OK, the comments might be cautious but the key thing is that they retain the confidence of the major investors who have supported the 're-launch'.

Eric,
It was mentioned on the other side. I didn't follow it up as I wasn't particularly bothered. Could very well be someone being silly over there....as usual. It was also in conjunction with the supposed SEO news release on the 12th but as someone also pointed out, could have simply been a typo 21/12!

Eric/Garyble et al
It was yesterday's Times; they thought results were yesterday and said that Analysts tip a pretax loss of 5.7m, from a 3.2m loss last time.
I had estimated a larger loss so will be happy if it is only 5.7m. It is expected so does not bother me, I am more interested in NEWS! Today's few sells are down to a bit of panic by those not looking at the bigger picture IMO. No obvious institutional selling = good news ahead, again IMO.

Thanks Kim.
Perhaps it was a tactical leak to get people into the right frame come the results!

An increase loss for this last financial year was expected. Several times over the last 6 months, the media and analysts have as I recall stated as such.
An increased loss will on it's own not effect the sp, or if it does very little.
What is important is that Meat on the Bone statement we have all been waiting for.
We want, no more promises. The market will demand nothing less than hard contracts, signed and sealed. Without these, SEO might struggle on due to investors like myself who have always looked at this share as a blue sky, or total loss result.
Institutions will abandon ship as they have clients to answer to.
But I will stay in for that final hurdle, and yes if I do I may lose the lot.

Think I must be the love child of Greek and pinnacle!!!
I surge from confidant (pinnacle) one moment to resigned (greekman) the next.
Like pinnacle I expect top news around results time, but like greek I am aware how the lot could dissappear into the long grass.
This damn company has turned me into a schizophrenic, paranoid investor.
Don't anybody dare suggest accupuncture.

Acupuncture is being used in the battle against drug addiction. But what I want to know is, can it cure pins and needles?

I think SEO should start to further diversify and start pushing the weight loss abilities of owning SEO shares..............
I for one have lost several pounds (forgive the pun) IN A DAY!!!!!!
:-)
Thankfully, i'm off to sunny climes for a week and when I get back all will be forgiven.
well you've got to live in hope.

If you did not have a bad day on the Stock Market today, then very well done you. If however you did as 'well' as I, then here is a timely reminder of what it is all about!
STOCK: A magical piece of paper that is worth 10,000 until the moment you buy it. It will then be worth 11.50.
BOND: What you had with your spouse until you pawned his/her golf clubs to invest in Stanelco.
BROKER: The person you trust to help you make major financial decisions. Please note the first five letters of this word spell Broke.
BEAR: What your trade account and wallet will be when you take a flyer on that hot stock tip your secretary gave you.
BULL: What your broker uses to explain why your mutual funds tanked during the last quarter.
MARGIN: Where you scribble the latest quotes when you're supposed to be listening to your manager's presentation.
SHORT POSITION: A type of trade where, in theory, a person sells stocks he doesn't actually own. Since this also only ever works in theory, a short position is what a person usually ends up being in (i.e. "The rent, sir? Hahaha, well, I'm a little short this month.").
COMMISSION: The only reliable way to make money on the stock market, which is why your broker charges you one.
