Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

"Rock" is a nice PC name for Dogfish, looks like a small shark and so not quite so attractive as fish like cod etc. (Except of course to another Dogfish.)

I used to catch them off Margate Pier, don't now, no Margate Pier anymore. Not the easiest fish to skin either.

OK, I've found the WiFi - the SSID would seem to be Fluffylugs. Now, whats the password?

KEAYDIAN - 21 Oct 2009 15:39 - 2403 of 4886

Cough cough :O(

kimoldfield - 21 Oct 2009 17:56 - 2404 of 4886

ZZZZzzzzZZZZ grmph! Eh? what happened? Oh no, I fell asleep. My chicken madras with basmalti rice and naan is cold now! Hmmm I'll stuff it in the microwave (Bzzzzzz. Ding!) There you are KEAYDIAN, that'll sort your cough out!

MM the password is mintsauce.

MightyMicro - 21 Oct 2009 18:37 - 2405 of 4886

Thanks, kim. I should have guessed. I hope Lambykins never needs to use the WiFi here. Interestingly, microwave ovens operate in the same radio frequency band as WiFi (2.4GHz). Another reason why Lambykins may feel uncomfortable using the WiFi here - too many cooking overtones, perhaps.

KEAYDIAN - 21 Oct 2009 19:03 - 2406 of 4886

Flu, yuck, hackle cough cough

kimoldfield - 21 Oct 2009 22:16 - 2407 of 4886

My router is breaking down but I can't get a signal out of the microwave!

Bad luck KEAYDIAN. Swine flu?

KEAYDIAN - 21 Oct 2009 22:21 - 2408 of 4886

Worse, man flu, aaaaaaaarrrrrrcho

kimoldfield - 21 Oct 2009 22:47 - 2409 of 4886

Oh no! That's really bad. You'll have to go into quarantine! :o(

KEAYDIAN - 22 Oct 2009 07:04 - 2410 of 4886

Do I have to? Ok, if you insist

Now, don't forget about me. I'll take breakfast around 10am please.

Socrates - 22 Oct 2009 08:47 - 2411 of 4886

I'll take breakfast anytime.

Socrates - 22 Oct 2009 08:47 - 2412 of 4886

I sold some shares yesterday, am I the daring one?

Spaceman - 22 Oct 2009 08:56 - 2413 of 4886

Socs, Shares? what are they ?

kimoldfield - 22 Oct 2009 08:57 - 2414 of 4886

Depends what you sold Soco! I hope you made a decent profit?!

(Scribbles note on board. Breakfast delivery to Quarantine Zone at 10am.)

kimoldfield - 22 Oct 2009 08:57 - 2415 of 4886
