A safari in Kenya or a long cruise sounds a bit more tempting than a stroll down the beach in Hornsea with a Hornsea Pottery mug half full (or half empty) of luke warm tea GM. I've just been out to buy some nappies for tomorrow: if the news/results are not that good will I hang on or let go?, it won't matter if I'm wearing a nappy.

Spent many a blustery day with fish and chips - from the best chippy in Christendom - looking out over the unique seascape of Hornsea during the summer months. (Inside the car with the heating on).
Used to cycle there from my council house in East Hull - when I were a nipper - cod and chips for one and a tanner :)

One and a tanner? Would that have been a penny farthing bike back then? ;0)

Where's this Hornsea?
I lived outside of Nairobi, Kenya for a time.
Would be nice to visit somewhere exotic for a change !

Tony, apart from lions, giraffes etc, open sea and maybe a slight difference in temperature I can't see the east coast of Yorkshire being much different to Nairobi so maybe you should look elsewhere? Rhyl is very nice.............

I have heard Prestatyn is rather bracing in May.

Mad Pad, Prestatyn is bracing all year round, that is why they hold the snooker prelims there, you will often see a Parrot in Prestatyn, such an exotic place.
ST, strange to say, I have a box of Yorkshire Tea in the cupboard (my wife's, I'm a coffee man m'self). And in truth, yes SEO is "wait and see" despite me having a seriously misguided buying finger twitch last week. In profit at the moment though, so basking in my "success". :D)

Despite SETS I still believe that MM's can manipulate. Look at last week to this. Pity the poor sods who were flushed out!

Looking through the results (will dissect later), but on first look it's promises and hope.
Comments such as "we are continuing to make progress", we look forward to and trials ongoing" etc are very disappointing.
If it was not for similar result filling waffle from last years results the future could look promising, but WE HAVE HEARD IT ALL BEFORE.
It's still a case of jam tomorrow.
Promises don't last forever. Would not surprise me if many jump ship.
The only real bright point was the 2 products on the Walmart shelves.
But 2, at this rate will it be 3 in a few months and perhaps we can look forward to 4 in the 2008 results and an announcement that the Hichen trial are progressing nicely.
Very, very disappointed.

Having re-read the results I suppose they contain nothing that I was not expecting at this time, apart maybe from the extent of write-offs, so my instinct is to continue to hold unless I see signs of dumping by institutions, which would be an indication that they had no idea of the company's present position.
