Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I don't practice. I am retired. I studied it, was trained and took the exams out of interest really. I used to have a software company and did the training over a few years. The hypnotherapy is interesting. One of the various teachers I had was the head of a psychotherapy department at a university. He was a believer in past life regression. There was a group of us studying. We tried it out on each other. Under hypnosis you are regressed back earlier and earlier to a point where you are in a previous life. As this progresses you are encouraged to talk about this other life. I was apparently a medieval peasant walking through a forest on the way to a market. I didn't take it seriously though.

Hays,
"These days the term sociopath is used. And by the way I am also a trained psychotherapist."
Check your facts. You may use "sociopath" many others use "psychopath" which is more descriptive of personality "defects".
If you were trained as a "psychotherapist" then it would seem to have been a very superficial training and you appear to me to have developed very little insight and certainly misuse "sensitivity".
As far as a trained "Hypnotherapist" is concerned, many see "Hypnosis" as a con artist's trick and fitting for the party leadership which you support.
Some hypnotist are as gullible as the clients they trick and surrender to the dark arts with contentment.
Don't stay awake thinking about the above.

Hays,
I was apparently a medieval peasant walking through a forest on the way to a market. I didn't take it seriously though.
Perhaps, you were confabulating in view of your obvious need to please your "betters".
Or, perhaps, you were just confused then as you appear now.

Not sure what you mean by sources. If you mean a recommended hypnotherapist then I don't know of any these days and never did outside of London.
