Will only cover stocks bought in the present month the last thread was getting too big and weighted down by one argument on one company. seperate threads are set up for each company from the old thread.
Buys this Month.
Telecolm Plus Results due Friday and has made an excelent start as a new buy. Now through the important 350p resistance barrier.
Sci Entertainment Another company which has an update coming and is up on the buy price. Latest trading update mentioned sales well above budget.
Bema Gold A little gem of a gold miner and has surged on the back of the increasing POG, star of the Month.
Thistle Mining A speculative punt and one which leapt 41% in one day on back of new drilling results. I lopped the top of this one when increase from buy was circa 34%. Rest left in as a gamble on POG.
Caldwell Investments Nothing Spectacular here but still up on buy price. If its good enough for Jim Slater and Evil Knievil, its good enough for me.
CardPoint Latest buy and just ahead of buy price. Been tipped by the Red Hot Penny Shares and also Citywire.
Stocks On The Watch List
Wolfeson Micro, Radstone Technology, Proteome Sciences, Fulcrum Pharma, Severfield Rowen, Deltex medical, M L Labs, NAP - Porvair.
Any comments on the portfolio welcome.
cheers GF.

All:I hate to interupt the flow here as well, but come on, if you want to attack each other please do so offline or elsewhere.
Attack the company/share not the user.
Last warning.

Bravo Bullshare.
We all try to keep this and other threads amicable -why cant people get that through.
regarding qualifications -means nothing-listen to all these so called gurus and what do you get -ambiguous nonsense.
Think of trading like this:-
"If you get a cup of tea and it tastes nice -you should be content and not have to analyse it as to how much milk, sugar water, temp, the maker etc are irelevant"
Also let every bird sing its song.

bob725:
You are right what gets me is that this gentleman is putting his time and resources to give us this all "free of charge on a plate" and then u get people causing discord and disrupt the harmony. Also in the end we pick and choose what we want after doing our own research.
Can u imagine if it was a subscription service -would they put their money where their mouth is.
They think anything for free is worthless -let them start their own threads and submit their trades etc and all for free.

How about confining all these attacks to a special thread called THE ARGUMENT THREAD?
It would avoid cluttering up the useful threads.
DON'T dare mention shares on THE ARGUMENT THREAD :-)

Personally I think GF dedicates a lot of time researching , and passing on the info, more then the other one is capable of doing, it seems
that his only capability is to attack GF and whoever has a nice word for him..
each one DYOR then decide, no one is forced to do anything against his/her will, so why blame GF? (Jealousy???)
Now that you GF have started a new thread, and the administrator gives a worming, about time too, to the trouble makers, lets hope to have this thread as its meant to be info, quality posts and respect for all opinions, and above all dont lets forget that MoneyAM has invested time and money to have a quality website dont let a few ruined it.
Hoping there wont be any more personal attacks and lets live in harmony
GF keep up the good work
Good night all tomorrow will be another day
Ciao

Just one problem I have with gf, and that is he posts on all the various bulletin boards with his stock picks - which he has already bought in to. So, if he manages to persuade a 'following' that he has made mega bucks out of the stock market and that his stock picks are going to make money, then people will buy on his recommendation - thus making him richer. Like a lot of people in life, if you keep boasting how good you are at anything - then some people will believe you. Personally I think if you are really good at anything then you don't need to keep telling the whole world how wonderful you are. jmop

Scottie, havent bought into Yamana Gold yet, was the same case with Bema, also same with Incite, to suggest I buy in first in all cases is just not true. If I buy in and find that the story and future gets better why not share it with others. I have stocks in my portfolio that I think will outperform in the future, but to recommend them now would be silly. I think thats responsible.
I dont tell people I am good as you say, its others that do that in fact on another board I wiped off the thread because I was embarassed by the number of compliments I received.
Scottie theres plenty out there, hundreds in fact who give their opinion on certain stocks on all boards. Please remember I dont have a monopoly. Perhaps Im just lucky at stock picking, I certainly arent lucky in any other aspect of life.
Hi hope theres no hard feeling here.
Good luck and cheers GF.

I know GF doesn't like to have praised heaped upon him (come on mate, it's better than insults!), but I would just like to let the people on MoneyAm know that GF does not simply post his share picks, but he has in fact helped me immensely by posting articles, thoughts & comments about investment strategies, value/growth investing, creative accounting, how to analyse & value companies and so on.
Without his advice (on the Share Crazy site) I would not be in the position that I am in now. The position I am talking about is not a financial one, but a position of greater knowledge & understanding. I now know how to comprehensively research my own stocks, something very few BB posters are able to do well. I have done this by listening, watching and learning from GF.
I suggest that newcomers read all his stock picks, even if you are not interested in the stock, there is still a lot you can learn from him.
Praise over, get back to work Roger, you lazy old sod! ;-p

I stayed away for few days, manly for business, and partially got a bit fed up for all the bickering around some threads....
Arrived back here to ask GF that he left JCR out from his picks..
GF if you left it out on purpose because I believe is the most trouble cause shares, from a third party I personally dont agree, because I am a JCR holder, like me there are other, and as such I like to hear your opinion and news....
I am here to say that yesterday (tuesd.) the MM tried a treeshake with very little result, my brokers left me a message (I was in a meeting most of the day) if I wanted to sell 10K at 13p when the bid was at 11p (that is why I think there isnt many available) mainly now are long term holder..
and strange enough who realised them? A friend of mine because wanted a spare cash(so he told me in the evening) otherwise.
(can easily been checked , because he sold them via Milan....)
Any way I thought you and other JCR holder might like to know it, maybe is time to add some more... what do you think?
lets now hope to carryon talk about shares and not the posters
Ciao
brianboru why posting then!!!!!!!!

Ciao.
I quote you.
"Now that you GF have started a new thread, and the administrator gives a worming, about time too, to the trouble makers, lets hope to have this thread as its meant to be… info, quality posts and respect for all opinions, and above all don’t lets forget that MoneyAM has invested time and money to have a quality website… don’t let a few ruined it."
The warning by the manager was a general warning to all INCLUDING goldfinger.
So lets put it away now.
As regards your other post asking for opinions on JCR I feel that the price now reflects the true worth of this company and is hardly an active stock as approx only 6,000 shares changed hands yesterday and I find it incredible that a broker would phone around for 1,300 pounds of stock.
Hopping.

hoping.. yes GF was included as well.... and myself if I needed...(fair, no?)
If you look properly at my post (37) I quote yesterday (TUESD.) if you will be so kind and look at the TUESDAY trading closed with 142.415 volume...... So if you contest on a diferent day we will never agree....isn't it?
If you like to contact the London (I don't know the English procedure)stock market board, and ask if there was some selling from Milan... see what they say.... why should I post something if not true? IF you are not in JCR why bother to carryon about it?
Any way I hope I answer all your questions..
