Share opened down but has recovered, good support for price even with that news.

I wonder this could be good news tomorrow.

Bosley, stg (sterling) Regards.

Small rights issue.

Does anyone know how I get the new shares when my existing shares are in a nominee ISA account?

Janus - 15 Jan 2004 16:32 - 28 of 50

Apple, In a rights issue your broker should be in touch with you to to tell you how many shares you have been allocated and asking how many, if any, you wish to take up. It doesnt matter if its a nominee account or you hold paper shares.

apple - 15 Jan 2004 21:17 - 29 of 50

Thanks

apple - 19 Jan 2004 11:08 - 30 of 50

Due to the rights issue I have had

Stanleco Plc New Ord 0.1p Nil Paid shares credited to my on-line account.

EPIC is SEON

NO INFO is forthcoming from my on-line broker.

Bid Price for nil paid is 1.75
Offer Price for nil paid is 2.25

Obviously below the normal price because they are nil paid.

Can any body tell me what I have to pay for each to convert them & how I do it or if I can just sell my rights & how.

When I click to trade, it says that they can't be traded online.

I can't get through to my on-line broker on the phone.

angi - 19 Jan 2004 12:15 - 31 of 50

Apple, if you can't get through to your broker on the phone you need a new broker. There are several who offer phone and online dealing, infact I'm amazed that any don't.

apple - 19 Jan 2004 12:31 - 32 of 50

Mine does but I can't get through.

Ruthies Fund - 19 Jan 2004 16:20 - 33 of 50

I'm with Etrade for my ISA's where I hold SEO
Etrade sent an email the very next day re. SEON asking me to tell them by 4th FEB whether I wish to buy and to make funds available in account to do so
I would think all brokers ought to do the same for their clients...but seems as though you have time to write if necessary!!
Regards Ruthie

bosley - 23 Jan 2004 10:05 - 35 of 50

apple - 23 Jan 2004 10:17 - 36 of 50

They sent me a message late Monday.

& then they sent another.

Just like buses, late & then arriving 1 after another.

apple - 23 Jan 2004 10:19 - 37 of 50

bosley

How about editing your header message & putting a 1 month chart in it, it is now out of date anyway.

bosley - 29 Jan 2004 14:01 - 38 of 50

just a thought . do people feel that there will be a lot of sells once everyone has got their rights issue shares?

apple - 29 Jan 2004 15:23 - 39 of 50

No

bosley - 30 Jan 2004 08:41 - 40 of 50

been waiting ages for shares mag to mention stanelco . and now i wish they hadnt.small mention but focuses on profit turning to loss and there being no immediate improvement in telecoms market.mentions the rights isue and an agent going bust in japan leaving debts of 130k.but it does leave the best 'til last . "using tachnology to produce foam starched packaging is quite exciting howver." and this is why i am here . reduction in waste is the future and any decent company that can provide biodegradable packaging is going to do well. especially if the supermarkets like it.

apple - 30 Jan 2004 11:06 - 41 of 50

bosley

This is old news & already in the price.

Shares mag have been very slow to report it.

BTW

Thanks for flaging up the buying opportunity on 16th Dec.

I'm in profit on this one because of that.

publess - 01 Feb 2004 13:22 - 42 of 50

I like SEO, but I'm very concerned about the RF welding lawsuit with Bioprogress. I've looked at the patents and read the reports. Seems it ultimately comes down not to the patents but to an NDA. If Bio lose, they have insurance (the underwriters must be happy with the risk, surely?) If SEO lose, they lose or have to buy a key technology for their success. SEO are certainly not one to short IMHO, but I'm uncomfortable raving about them until the lawsuit position becomes clearer.

roma - 09 Feb 2004 13:49 - 43 of 50

I am one of the people who took up the rights offer.I was under the impression that they were just ordinary shares, but it appears the shares given were a different share of a lower value. That are in fact worth less than I paid for them. Can someone with a bit more know how please explain.
