So Bernie gets his free place in a secure retirement home, but where is the money. Perhaps the feds should start digging on Mt Sion?

Big Al how clever do you have to be to be a thief, what has happened to a lot of people who have lost all their savings is not funny.

6925 Tabatha - I wont to see some folk take the pain, you included. It shouldve been obvious even to a dimwit like youreferring to investors of MDX losing their money because of a corrupt BODcurrently being investigated and with their assets frozen

cynic you couldn't resist coming back to try to defend the indefensible. Madoff is a thief who used his position in the jewish community to steal from his fellow jews, if that is not the lowest form of human behavior we don't know what is.If you think what he did was acceptable then your judgement is sadly impaired.

oh dear - ROTFL ..... you stick with your illogical prejudices - guess by definition that has to be so - but never apply for a job that requires objective appraisal

cynic so you think Madoff did nothing wrong, others see him residing in jail where he belongs. We wouldn't want to do busines with those who think his actions could in any way be justified.

My understanding, which may or may not be full, is that many threw all their eggs in one basket. It's hard to have complete sympathy for these folk. Unfortunately Madoff is but one of many who have done the same to varying degrees. They're all thiefs of one type or another, but people with money in there did so under their own steam. Long live capitalism, eh?
Serious question - I didn't take you as someone who would be so wound up by this. Any particular reason?

Big Al still taking the p**s what Madoff did has already caused some to commit suicide, many elderly people have lost their life savings ... do you find that funny?

because he hates the fact that i keep telling him he lacks any proper logic and that the only unusual aspect of this case was the longevity of the scam, greatly enhanced by SEC's failure to cat.
he (and his pal Clubman) also has an absurd fixation with MB's ethnicity which colours virtually every post

I don't find it particularly funny anyone losing money, but many had all their eggs in one basket. I find that sad, but the truth is they did that because of greed as Madoff boasted the greatest returns. Spread your risk. You know that. I do find it hard to have total sympathy for greedy people.
Why are you so vehement on this? You have never struck me as so "volatile", for want of a better expression. Do you know someone who has committed suicide due to losses on Madoff's fund?

cynic again that is your misguided opinion, facts tell you that the vast majority of Madoff's victims are from the jewish community. If you can't accept that then you are in denial.

Madoff is a human being who commited terrible offences to other human beings.and for a long time. that is shocking and disgraceful. thats it as far as i am concerned regarding all the other stuff that is being spouted, that is all immaterial.he would have still done it anyway regardless.thats who he is, thats who we all are, a human being. end,
