THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Stan - 17 Apr 2013 16:33 - 24058 of 81564

We say cyclist GF -):

Haystack - 17 Apr 2013 16:33 - 24059 of 81564

Bikes? Oh yes, they are those things that go whizzing along the pavements injuring pedestrians and jump traffic lights on the rare occasions that they are on the road.

goldfinger - 17 Apr 2013 16:33 - 24060 of 81564

Ehhhhh whats wrong with being a biker?. Got 2 mates who are hells angels........ salt of the earth...... lovely guys.

goldfinger - 17 Apr 2013 16:35 - 24061 of 81564

skinny - 17 Apr 2013 16:36 - 24062 of 81564

More rhyming slang?

doodlebug4 - 17 Apr 2013 16:42 - 24063 of 81564

Haystack - post 24061 - it's not bikes that do that, it's speeding police cars.

Fred1new - 17 Apr 2013 16:43 - 24064 of 81564

Take a rod with you and put a bit of bread on the line.

Nice supper, but not much on either of them.

8-)

New somebody many years ago who always took a poachers gun with him when he went fishing.

goldfinger - 17 Apr 2013 16:46 - 24065 of 81564

LOL.......... its just nice Fred to get out on this rotten winter.

goldfinger - 17 Apr 2013 16:48 - 24066 of 81564

Looks like Osbourne wont stay the distance.

Hes a chump anyway.

Not even an economist....... like a odd job man telling a plumber how to do a job.

Haystack - 17 Apr 2013 16:50 - 24067 of 81564

Police cars need to jump lights. Idiots on bikes don't. Good to see that the police do stop bike riders who jump lights in central London and charge them.

doodlebug4 - 17 Apr 2013 16:54 - 24068 of 81564

I don't think many people get killed by bikes, Haystack, but the stats. on how many get killed by speeding police cars must be pretty high.

Haystack - 17 Apr 2013 16:56 - 24069 of 81564

Very few Chancellors are economists, especially the better ones. Not as bad as Labour's previous shadow Chancellor, Alan Johnson, he did not even have GCSE maths.

Haystack - 17 Apr 2013 16:57 - 24070 of 81564

Plenty get injured by bikes.

goldfinger - 17 Apr 2013 16:58 - 24071 of 81564

I dont trust the police these days.

Even If I saw an incident I dont think Id report it now.

Been left for hours in police waiting rooms to sign statements then find once ive signed they dont give a damm.

Waste of space.

goldfinger - 17 Apr 2013 16:59 - 24072 of 81564

Hays thats rubbish just depends who you define as a good chancellor.

Stan - 17 Apr 2013 17:04 - 24073 of 81564

You will have to excuse H/S GF as he is just "a medieval peasant".. so he tells us -):
