Too volatile for me, but those apparently stunning figures still show huge usage of cash from operations ($62M in 3 months). Profits can be manipulated, but not so easy with the cash. Personally, I would be wary.

ateeq - many businesses which go bust have been profitable (e.g. check out HTP earlier this week. I would put Northern Rock in the same category) but they fail through lack of cash. There are many ways of manipulating profits. A couple for you - SOLA shows stock valued at $156M as at end of March, up from $110M at end December. Just suppose (for arguments sake only) this stock is in reality only worth $120M, then they would actually have made a loss in the quarter. Again, different businesses have different methods of booking sales, which can in reality turn what is really just an order into a sale (and thereby into the P&L account). Cash is cash (unless its Langbar) and even the most incompetent auditors can check the bank balance with some accuracy!
