Well done Tellon

[EDIT - forgot to say absolutely cracking call hilary - I'm just soooooooo impressed - must try harder to get this right - it's a dream if you get it right - but monster if you get it wrong ]

Tellon - 17 Dec 2004 10:14 - 2410 of 11056

Thanks, Im out for +100 today.

I had to leave the screen so left a 100limit on as I comutted to work..

Out at 1.9420, would have been my exit on my rules as well.. So not bad..

Makes this my Third week in the black.

Any one have any views on trading next week? Volume/Volatility and that?

hilary - 17 Dec 2004 10:30 - 2411 of 11056

Well done, T. I think that next week will be fine for day trading if you just stick to the system. Anybody in a longer term trade might find that their trend lines and oscillators go a bit screwy over the Xmas break.

hodgins - 17 Dec 2004 10:42 - 2412 of 11056

Certainly a lot of potential earlier in the pound but I was short $/Swiss (something to do with rates/intervention/safe haven-I think?). Well I've got a trailing stop in for a small handful but nothing to write home about.
Anyone seeing enough of a retracement on the pound for another belated long attempt

hodgins - 17 Dec 2004 11:00 - 2413 of 11056

CPI guessing?
0.2 consensus headline dropping but core number better which may mix up markets?
Canadian figure out earlier and that gave good indication on last weeks figures.

Tellon - 17 Dec 2004 11:29 - 2414 of 11056

Cheers Hill..

I think Friday being a bank holiday in U.S I'll give it a miss. But I'll try Mon - Thu then.

CPI Im going 0.0(Or Less) and 0.3 As my prediction.

and CPI 3.0 (Going Down)

hodgins - 17 Dec 2004 13:23 - 2415 of 11056

CAD figures higher, won't necessarily relate or be the same

Tellon - 17 Dec 2004 16:46 - 2416 of 11056

How did I do? Cant find numbers..

Divetime - 17 Dec 2004 18:33 - 2417 of 11056

Well better day today, will need a few days like today to recoup yesterdays losses.

Tellon - 20 Dec 2004 07:26 - 2418 of 11056

Monday Morning to you all,

Yukos?

Well looks long to me this morning. Looks like the banks and forcasters agree. 1.3300 or 1.9400 as goon entries with limits at new highs.. I dont see it coming back to 1.9400 but we will wait and see if we can get 1.9400 - 1.9410

Divetime - 20 Dec 2004 07:48 - 2419 of 11056

Morning all, agree tellon long cable at mo.

Tellon - 20 Dec 2004 09:44 - 2420 of 11056

Yep went long from 19435 could have had 420 but was waiting for 410 as above.. Took 35 when it busted above the previous candles high..

Im locked in +35 at the moment just watching this 500 number.

Tellon - 20 Dec 2004 10:25 - 2421 of 11056

Out for +40 500 couldnt hold..

Tellon - 21 Dec 2004 07:28 - 2422 of 11056

Looks like a Sideways Day this morning.

Forecasts are Euro Up & GBP Down.

So not sure just yet what to do..

Tellon - 21 Dec 2004 07:47 - 2423 of 11056

Ive gone long euro a tiny amount as very unsure what is hapening.

Divetime - 21 Dec 2004 07:49 - 2424 of 11056

Morning All, Going to try small long and scalp a few.

mg - 21 Dec 2004 07:53 - 2425 of 11056

Went short last night @ 470 - and left it - won't do that again - up this morning to check it and it was about 20 points in profit. Went off to make a cup of tea - returned for 60 points. Worked but way too slack a way to trade.

Currently looking at the 30 and 60 minute charts which both seem to suggest a decent pull back could be on its way. Looking to see if I can get in a bit further up from here.

mg - 21 Dec 2004 08:59 - 2426 of 11056

Scalped a few from 400 ;)

Looking to try a long for a bounce back there

mg - 21 Dec 2004 09:06 - 2427 of 11056

Long from 70 - then I must get some work done ;(

[EDIT - bugger - that's me done - lost 10 of my hard won pips - must not try and go against the trend - stupid boy]

May pop in later
