Garyble,

Re Sir Mark,
He will often be right as he predicts things regarding SEO every day, so by percentage he will be right now and then. Remember those people who wander the streets ever day with those posters stating, "The end of the world is nigh", one day they will be right.
Most of the time his statements are what the majority predict such as many of the figures released in the results. There have been many times that his predictions have been totally wrong. He posted this yesterday.......I wouldn't buy this stock untill Wednesday then buy as many as you can IMO" He does not give any reasons and if someone askes, he usually states, He knows someone but can't say anymore, nudge nudge, wink wink.

He also cut and pastes every buy he makes, its as if he is insecure he has to prove his credentials.
He has stated many times that news WILL BE RELEASED THIS WEEK and many times he has been wrong. Most do not trust his statements. If you read all his posts over the last few months, I am sure you would come to the same conclusion.

Oilywag - 02 Apr 2007 07:56 - 24136 of 27111

Oh God, wish I had kept my mouth shut now!

Now if I ask you to leave them on for as long as possible, will you then take them all off?

Nah, didn't think so.

The oily one

Did someone say SEO was a basket case???
Moses was a basket case and the boy done good..............

kimoldfield - 02 Apr 2007 08:37 - 24138 of 27111

Latest news.............Moses is buying SEO shares, watch out for the 'Bull rushes'

greekman - 02 Apr 2007 08:40 - 24139 of 27111

So your advice to SEO is forget packaging made from corn etc, start looking at bio degradable bull-rushes.
Now if SEO could part the Red Sea, I would definitely top up.
In the mean time, I will just keep taking the tablets. Tablets get it, alright never mind.

Mad Pad - 02 Apr 2007 08:40 - 24140 of 27111

For anyone interested the AFC placing is on April 12th,sponsor Nabarro Wells, expected market cap 50m,business alkaline fuel cells.

kimoldfield - 02 Apr 2007 08:41 - 24141 of 27111

Mikeylad, sounds like your job is an idyllic one!
Greekman, there are no taxi services around Llanfairpwll....Goch, well, just try ordering one after a good night out and then telling the driver where you want to go!

Damn,
You were posting as I was typing. Great minds.

ptholden - 02 Apr 2007 08:41 - 24143 of 27111

Oops, wrong thread :)

kimoldfield - 02 Apr 2007 08:45 - 24144 of 27111

The Eleventh Commandment.
Do not give up on Stanelco. Trouble is nobody saw it because Moses forgot to turn the Tablet around.

greekman - 02 Apr 2007 08:49 - 24145 of 27111

Which is the harder,to feed the 5000 with 5 loaves and 2 fishes, or get a contract signed with Walmart.

Fred1new - 02 Apr 2007 09:46 - 24146 of 27111

OL1, I have a confession to make. I hold some SEO, when it was at .9 I thought I was buying enough shares to own the company. Thought of approaching with a takeover bid.

I am less than certain that it will be coming good for quite a while yet, but I think it is going to be slow.

I will be patient for the next 6mths to see what progress is made and the next results update.

garyble - 02 Apr 2007 09:52 - 24147 of 27111

Iankn73,

It was from the "darkside" .....I glance at it occasionally, but due to the volume of bickering its generally {80% say!} rubbish.

Greekman,

I've not kept up with that bb, so do not know the history or calibre of the person. His manner does remind me of PM1, but it was uncanny that he sort of got the following more or less right:

1: ~$14m loss.....most others were expecting ~6m
2: 2 deals done.....could be the 2 SEO products on WalMart's shelves
3: of the ~14m loss, he stated that 6m would be GS....was in a way

Oilywag - 02 Apr 2007 09:55 - 24148 of 27111

garyble

There is no way all those figures quoted by SirMark could have been guesses and he is certainly not a genius. He had inside information.

I leave people on here to consider the implications of that.

The oily one

Mad Pad - 02 Apr 2007 10:03 - 24149 of 27111

Oily I agree with you ,interesting to see what happens on Wedensday.

greekman - 02 Apr 2007 10:10 - 24150 of 27111

Garyble,

You are right re the bickering. As for Sir Mark, like you I thought he was posting a bit like PM1. Sir Mark posted a couple of weeks ago that there would be 2 RNS releases that week, nudge nudge etc. That week there were none.
The problem is there are many gullible people about who believe him ( after following your posts for some time I know you are not one of them).
I believe he has been banned from the PM1 site so it can not be the same person, can it? Double bluff perhaps.

Oily,

Whilst not wishing to prolong the Sir Mark saga, believe me if you look through all his predictions, most have been wrong, with those being right just good guesswork. The figures he stated would be in the results were what could be picked up by those predicted by several other research areas. He was also telling punters NOT TO SELL, then stating he had just sold some shares. When bought to task re this he stated he was just profit taking or intended to buy back in at a lower sp.

Bugz - 02 Apr 2007 11:10 - 24151 of 27111

Why are people shocked?
"
1: ~$14m loss.....most others were expecting ~6m
2: 2 deals done.....could be the 2 SEO products on WalMart's shelves
3: of the ~14m loss, he stated that 6m would be GS....was in a way
"
I bet you loads of people had that info prior to its annoucement. He just was silly enough to post it. Insider info is a part of life-surely-why the fuss?

Yes it can manipulate newbies on the board, but if anyone is making investment decisions purely on the basis of these forums you need your head reading.

I know there are people who post on here that have far more info which they are not willing to post. Sir Mark seems the exception.

Mad Pad-Are you picking up some AFC when it floats? I ask as you seem interested in the stock.

garyble - 02 Apr 2007 11:17 - 24152 of 27111

Just found it interesting guys. maybe something of nothing and simply an ego thing for the chap.

Some people could/would be taken in by certain posts/posters. Inside info is best kept to oneself IMO.

Back to the matter in hand: IF there is no significant movement in trade volume over the next week or two with no news, I'd say the storm would have been well and truly weatehered.

As someone stated recently, these results could have been worded to clear the decks of all the misinformation and mismanagement of the old regime, therefore establishing a stable platform from which to build.

There was certainly a fair degree of subtlety within the results, the casual comment of the 2 products {could be of little value in any event} with another to follow. 40% reduction in head count and costs. Also the "shortage" of PLA, albeit probably a very real issue in the short-term, I'm sure the likes of Natureworks have not stood still!

I'm hoping that I'll at least break even this year. It will need a 5 bagger from this point but should be achievable.

Bugz - 02 Apr 2007 11:24 - 24153 of 27111

"maybe something of nothing and simply an ego thing for the chap. Inside info is best kept to oneself IMO." Spot on mate.

I'm not so hopeful as you Gary, but i'm expecting/hoping it will be trading around the 2 pence mark by the end of summer. With regards to the storm, I'm not so sure if its blown its last puff!!

Fred1new - 02 Apr 2007 12:54 - 24154 of 27111

In the many anxieties I have about this company is that if it does pick up a few deals and actually starts to earn a little cash, whether there will be management takeover, or another form of takeover at too low a price. Seen it before!!
