ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

ONLINE fashion retailer asos.com has launched its long-awaited kidswear brand, called Little asos, catering for babies up to 24 months and girls and boys aged from two to six years.

The childrenswear collection also features fashion labels including Diesel and Tommy Hilfiger.

Shares in Asos rose 1.2 per cent on the news to 333.25p and after broker Numis rated the firm a "buy.

Numis said the new range was "another incremental positive" for the firm, adding that its "core business" continued to offer vast opportunities for growth.

Gap is understood to have inked a deal with young fashion etailer Asos to launch its first transactional website in the UK.


An announcement regarding the deal was expected imminently as Drapers went to press.

In October, Gap confirmed it had plans to launch a transactional website in the UK. In the same month, Asos announced plans to team up with fashion brands that did not have a transactional website to offer them an online presence.

The etailer already offers a web fulfilment service hosting transactional online operations for brands via its own website.

Asos and Gap declined to comment

Cynic - would have thought you would have been in these, were you and sold out at 410p or do you not rate this growing company?

i am short ..... timing all wrong, but slowly getting back towards profitability .... as i have frequently stated, i think ASC is an excellent company that created a needed niche .... that said, the stock carries a pretty hefty rating in a horrid sector and it is inconceiveble (to me) that ASC can be looking forward with any enthusiasm to the rest of 2009
