Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Spaceman - 23 Aug 2011 23:08 - 24158 of 24230

Any fish fingers available?

kimoldfield - 24 Aug 2011 08:08 - 24159 of 24230

(The sound of munching woodworm has increased. A thin spiral of wood dust creates a golden pillar in a shaft of sunlight.)

Spaceman - 24 Aug 2011 09:22 - 24160 of 24230

There was a loud crack and the main ceiling crashed down, closely followed by the roof and walls, after a long period of decay the coffee house could take no more.

Luckily lambykins had gone out to the garden for some grass, but as his coffee house crashed down he looked back with tears in his eyes and said time to move on........

kimoldfield - 24 Aug 2011 10:24 - 24161 of 24230

(To those with a keen ear, there were screams as thousands of woodworms were crushed by the falling debris. A crowd gathered in the high street, tears in their eyes, witnessing the end of an era.)

Damn, I'll have to find another meter to tap into for my free electric now! :o(

Spaceman - 06 Mar 2016 23:16 - 24165 of 24230

Thanks Kim, I will forward the bill to you...

kimoldfield - 07 Mar 2016 07:55 - 24166 of 24230

But it's not my electric that I've been using so I don't have to pay do I? It's your bill, your electric. :o)

Socrates - 07 Mar 2016 08:47 - 24167 of 24230

There's something fishy about that bill !

kimoldfield - 07 Mar 2016 12:39 - 24168 of 24230

You're right! I've never seen an electric bill C.O.D. before! :o)

Spaceman - 08 Mar 2016 12:38 - 24169 of 24230

This isnt C.O.D is Cash a long while after delivery so that's OK not fishy at all.

Bullshare - 08 Mar 2016 12:45 - 24170 of 24230

Has it reopened, if you need a decorator to tart the place up Martini is wasting his life and Gausie can send over some tasteless African art!

Spaceman - 08 Mar 2016 16:58 - 24171 of 24230

Bully I cant afford to reopen it, got huge electricity bill to pay for all the leccy that kimoldfield nicked.

Bullshare - 09 Mar 2016 08:43 - 24172 of 24230

Perhaps have a pop up cafe, they are all the rage, I am sure we can get hold of some solar panels and create our own electricity.

M

kimoldfield - 09 Mar 2016 09:11 - 24173 of 24230

I only borrowed the electric. I've got a mate who will put up some solar panels free, you'll get your leccy back then see. Innit.

Good grief, there is still life out there. Has Environmental Health finally let you re-open?

optomistic - 10 Mar 2016 11:47 - 24175 of 24230

ExecLine - 10 Mar 2016 13:25 - 24176 of 24230

There are at least 10 things you never knew you could do with Coca-Cola, say Sainsbury's.

Now that spring is coming, I guess you could try that.

kimoldfield - 10 Mar 2016 14:23 - 24177 of 24230

Coke will brig up these 2p coins that I found under the table like new!
