Been to my restaurant again, Tony?

TheFrenchConnection - 09 Apr 2007 17:25 - 24185 of 27111

Moscow ? Rather be on the moon or even Brixton , than in that cold cold hinterland of chaos, vast building sites and sinister shinnannagins ..\one time i was there it was almost minus 30 and so cold DRS prescribed opiates so as to make winter even bearable Mind you i had a night out with some Russian consripts in Kiev when i worked as a lackey in the French embassy there......and sheeeesh those Russsian boys can drink/ party/ fight like nothing i have ever seen ........Have never recovered nor forgotten that hangover .Well you wouldnt would you when you later realised you had been drinking virtual brake fluid mixed with vodka and raw undistilled alcohol -- was effing hallucinating ,,lol,,,lol ..Unlike SEO which many wish had remained a hallucination . To be honest l thought this would have sank by now/ Surprised you people are still here ...but all good to you and hope you can all salvage something from this debacle .....b/ chance @+ J . . ..... ....

Tonyrelaxes - 09 Apr 2007 19:53 - 24186 of 27111

Sorry Oblo - not this trip, nor on January visit. Your pension fund will have to look elsewhere for the time being !

Beautiful experiance though it is, I am foresaking the traditional opulant style of Imperial Russia at Oblomov (both of 'em) for the more modern 'chic' of this really "happening" city. (Just count the tower cranes - always a good measure of how an economy is doing).

филимонова и янкель - Filimonova & Yankel, Fish House. www.fishhouse.ru Has seen us quite a few times now - we nearly qualify already for the regular customer loyalty discount card after 7 visits/meals. First one opened at the New Year in Kievskya and now more recently another in Tverskya.

mikeylad - 11 Apr 2007 14:49 - 24187 of 27111

do we know what is happening with wrap 100, been on trial for near on 12 months ?

Tonyrelaxes - 11 Apr 2007 22:43 - 24188 of 27111

mikey

The trials were with a major global potential customer. Despite suggestions of it being McDs this has never been directly confirmed - but the lines are there to be read between.
There has been no confirmation of the conclusion or outcome of those trials although I hear firm whispers from various sources that Wrap 100 is fully accepted by that potential user.

Also, Wrap 100 and being sold by SEO and is generating revenue although, as far as we know, only to smaller customers.

But let us all not forget, Wrap 100 is a BioTec product and BioTec have their own customers and are, I have been told by the person who would know, selling the stuff to their own customers. Not a lost opportunity, nor all bad - SEO get 50% of the profits.

oblomov - 12 Apr 2007 09:03 - 24189 of 27111

50% of the profits from Biotec sales of Wrap 100 - that'll keep the wolf from the door!

The number of posts here in the past week or so says it all really - the dream is over.

hewittalan6 - 12 Apr 2007 09:04 - 24190 of 27111

The dream is still alive (just).
Its the REM thats missing...............

Tonyrelaxes - 12 Apr 2007 09:48 - 24191 of 27111

Oblo
Wrap 100 is the name SEO give to what they (SEO) sell or will be selling. SEO will get 100% of those sales and profits. We just don't know what materials transfer pricing and royalty arrangements exist between SEO and BioTec but we get 50% of BioTecs profits from those, as well.

BioTec are themselves selling the same material but under other names - such as Bioplast. 50% of those sales/profits are for SEO

Alan
But you have to admire the quality of the posters on this page (bar one!) - if not the garbage we spout!

garyble - 12 Apr 2007 10:41 - 24192 of 27111

Tony,

Biotec have "BIOPLAST Wrap 100" which unless deliberately misleading by SEO should be one and the same material.

Tonyrelaxes - 12 Apr 2007 12:11 - 24193 of 27111

Gary
Yes, they are one and the same from what I have been told. As is the sample of 'Bioplast GF106 - 15 micron' that I have here in front of me on my desk.

I also have mail wrappers of the same thickness, appearance and touch, sent within the UK, and marked "The clear outer wrapper is made from biodegradable materials using renewable resources and is fully compostable".

When I asked MW if this originated from SEO he said "No - probably BioTec's own customer".
I don't know how it was sealed - heat or RF. Probably the former or SEO would otherwise have sold a Greenseal ! And we can't have that.....

TheFrenchConnection - 13 Apr 2007 05:05 - 24194 of 27111

Mes amities ,,,,,slt / Can someone pleeeeese answer me ? Why do you invest in such utter dross guilty of all misdemeanors when the market has offered some incredible bargains of late ..... This is a dead duck . Pure Carrion . Vulture grub . Not only has the fat lady stopped singing nor even left the building .......She passed away years ago when any one with a bit of sense got out at 28 .........it was a non brainer .....All froth and i said that years ago on this very thread so its not hindsight ........mais c'est la vie je suppose.....

greekman - 13 Apr 2007 07:33 - 24195 of 27111

So MW is stepping down for Personal reasons. Yer Right. Funny how it is nearly always personal reasons.

This change follows consultation with a significant group of the Company's shareholders.

Can only be a good move, as a bit more dead wood has gone.

hewittalan6 - 13 Apr 2007 07:58 - 24196 of 27111

Concerned over the whys and wherefores, but the replacement has exactly the cv SEO need.

wishes to thank him for his contribution during this difficult period in the

The oily one
