required field - 14 Jul 2010 13:55

It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

hmmm...not so sure dil...look at how many games he played in 2009/2010in the premiership...a massive 23 hardly even a first team regular never mind the first name on the teamsheet...so outstanding for the last year the stats would suggest not

http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/players/first_team/garethbale.html

also spurs nearly sold him last close season

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1201067/Spurs-wasting-Gareth-Bales-talents-Id-love-bring-Ajax-insists-ex-Tottenham-boss-Martin-Jol.html

give me sergio ramos any time as i think he would eat neville and wes brown alive which bale was incapable of doing...

hey maybe i am wrong and i hope i am. However seems usual premier league hype...but if your exposure to football is sky and the sun then go for it...he is the best player in the world...as was rooney

even charlie adam can look good in 2 games

Treblewide - 05 Nov 2010 23:57 - 243 of 6918

as i say i am undecided...maybe he will turn out to be a legend...all i am saying is try and look beyond the hype...CC seems unable to but waddya expect from an englishman :-)

Usual drivel I note over the last 20 odd postings about the relative rankings of Gerard and Lamps - still who cares ?

and how anyone can knock Bale is beyond me - a quality player even if he's playing for Spurs

jeffmack - 06 Nov 2010 18:55 - 245 of 6918

Come on Swansea

Dil - 07 Nov 2010 12:01 - 246 of 6918

HARRYCAT - 07 Nov 2010 15:49 - 247 of 6918

rf....you can get them all free on tinternet

hilary - 08 Nov 2010 13:42 - 252 of 6918

CC,

Yes, they missed Lampard and Essien yesterday. Being without one of those players is bad enough, but it's a big problem when they're both out against a big team like Liverpool.

Zhirkov and Ramires are not there as replacements yet imo.

hilary - 08 Nov 2010 13:43 - 253 of 6918

Required Field,

Here's an early Christmas pressie for you.

Dil - 08 Nov 2010 14:42 - 254 of 6918

Hils , they aint missed Lampard and nor have England. Flog him to Real while he's still overvalued would be best option imo.

hilary - 08 Nov 2010 14:52 - 255 of 6918

I couldn't care less whether England miss him or not, Dilbert. I prefer it when Chelsea players don't get called up for international duty.

But Chelsea have definitely missed him though.

daves dazzlers - 08 Nov 2010 15:36 - 256 of 6918

I think chelsea are not as good as liverpool on sunday 7th of november, would that be about right ?

Chris Carson - 08 Nov 2010 16:32 - 257 of 6918

Hils - Chelsea were poor, Liverpool were not that great. Strange don't you think Torres's miraculous return to form, didn't want to know against Everton other week. Maybe the smell of a Russian cheque book wafting in his nostrils perhaps? Torres and Gerard in blue and send Lampard back to West ham, go on you know you'd love it. :O)

Treblewide - 08 Nov 2010 18:09 - 258 of 6918

"I prefer it when Chelsea players don't get called up for international duty"

reason number 87 in....... the why women should concentrate on corrie and not football handbook

yours truly
Ginger "told you gareth bale was over rated" gibberish

The thing that irritates me most in English football is when the goalie gets hold of the ball and boots it upfield anywhere...now Schmeichel of Man U was very precise with his dishing out of the ball....but now most of the keepers just bang it anywhere...now I know that you cannot always start from the back because the other side would push you back, but some improvements of ball distribution are necessary in the UK....just take a look at the old Bayern Munich of Franz Beckenbauer's day....from the back going forward was excellent....

required field - 09 Nov 2010 23:51 - 260 of 6918

Thanks Hilary...shall investigate further...

Dil - 09 Nov 2010 23:55 - 261 of 6918

"against a big team like Liverpool" .... your aving a laff , ask Blackpool :-)
