ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

At what point would you say this is beautiful enough? tomasz. Any body know why it's fallen.
Cynic - would have thought you would have been in these, were you and sold out at 410p or do you not rate this growing company?

i am short ..... timing all wrong, but slowly getting back towards profitability .... as i have frequently stated, i think ASC is an excellent company that created a needed niche .... that said, the stock carries a pretty hefty rating in a horrid sector and it is inconceiveble (to me) that ASC can be looking forward with any enthusiasm to the rest of 2009

balerboy,i would say 290 is enough.it can go 280 even but that would be max.stay like that would say a week then up again.statement good so new numbers,esp..got it?:)))and im not so sure any body know why is falling down..:))

avoid retail .... suggest you walk down your high street and look at the empty units, and there's more and more to come .... on-line has some protection as no silly rent to pay, but peeps still need to be employed - less and less of them too - and money to spare on something more expensive than a bar of chocolate

Agree with your comment and as I'm in these from early days of 50p am happy to hold. if my daughter and her friends are anything to go by (19yrs old) they have no value of money what so ever. They see it, I want it syndrome prevails, worry about tomorrow when it comes. I can't believe you wait until a company is half way up the ladder, and not take a chance (calulated agreed) when it's blossoming.

as my daughter works in the fashion industry, and in my youth i also worked there, i have a pretty good insight into its current dire straits ..... i like restaurant stocks, but in the present climate, i won't go near those either

interesting chart ..... pretty much self-explanatory as are the potential support levels .... the black line is 200 dma, so perhaps significant that hass now been breached with reasonable impetus, though volumes look quite low, but this is a fairly illiquid stock

there was always diffrence between investing and speculation and always will be :)))

I didn't see the last fall coming and in hindsight wish I'd sold half at the last 410p, thats life.
Cynic, it sounds as if you never speculate, what percentage of your investments are long as opposed to shorts if it's not a rude question.

i see no difference ..... certainly much less of a difference than between oblige and obligate .... is an "active investor" a trader or a speculator or an investor, and what;s the difference? ..... all broadly pay the same taxes

290 is a bottom rather then the top isn't?:))) so, not we all.. cynic..:)))

who says 290 is the bottom? .... it may be, but there are plenty of reasons why it sp could easily fall through that
