evening. tomorrow is going to be either a big yawn or very interesting indeed (stroking my chin , thoughtfully). i can only see the bulls winning with seo. zscrooge, great post , 'bout the most you have ever said on here. you should post more often, help raise the standard of posts so i dont keep bringing it down. go with your principle!!!! (by the way, what are RI's?)

If you think about EK's self-marketing, you have to conclude he's been successful. His 'evil' image supported by his nickname and the insulting things he sometimes writes is obviously more use to him as a shorter than if he had a 'nice guy' image. Having established notoriety he shorts stocks that are BB favourites, and posts on active threads to tell everyone he's short. In doing so he activates his followers and frightens some others into selling, and hey presto, the price goes down.
On the other hand, when he goes long you can imagine some punters thinking, wow, if EK has gone long, must be good, I'd better have some of that.
Personally I hope he slips up at some point and gets banned from trading.

Cheers Bos. Retail Investors. Good luck here.
(BTW my initial interest here was a profit/turnover thing. Ie PXC , turnover end of 2004 expected 100 million, profit 6million yet sp languishing circa 7-9 for over a year. Compare and contrast. I have always liked the idea of SEO re potential etc since 4p days but never committed).

Have a look at the NLR thread = Pensions 271 has posted a useful list of EK's positions long and short. The more info we have - the more we can use for our own strategies.
EK has gone short on SEO

Hello Eric
I have just spent about an hour and a half (cross referencing plus i'm tired hence the time) compiling a post for the t1ps board as i said i would re EK's short, unfortunately it appears to have got lost in the system. i have e-mailed the site manager asking her to see if it has been mis-routed (i hope that can be done), otherwise it will be Tuesday before i have any more time to re-do it.
regards
Nick

All this selling is merely a reflection of an adage by which i have ALWAYS and ALWAYS willplay the game and that is ALWAYS play the percentages and take what the market offers you .ln other words "Buy on rumour and sell on Fact "..Consequently i sold my entire holding of 500,000 in two tranches @18p on the morning of the announcement ..l personally think in the years that lie ahead for SEO thier RF tecnology will be used in so many diverse sectors of industry it will be almost mindblowing .lts applications will read like a catalogue. So absolutely boggling that this pissant deal with Asda (which while l usually dislike exclusivity deals i appreciate this was essential considering the companies utterly dire fiscal position and in addition for reasons Andy has erruditely pointed out. But people will look back and see it as something of an awful screeching brake on this companies absolutely explosive future. lt has all the dynamics and momentum of what Proffessor Hobsbawm called the" take off into self sustained growth".... lf only it had the liquidity of its litigant BPRG in some 20m SEO would a ten bagger overnight .But it hasnt ..But in the background lurk the likes of SmithsKline and Astra Zeneca and a plethora of even bigger American giants armed with thier full political clout whose vocally agressive lobbyists have already circulated their position to the FDA ; and that is one of RF tech constitutes being the industrys most cost effective stratagy( in terms of savings on what was previously easily perforated individual dose dispensing packaging .Savings wise it would be the biggest in the industries history ,l have an interhouse brokerage note suggesting SEOs margins/returns in the food sector could be multiplied by ten when applied to the seemingly expensive drugs of the pharma industry and its massive customer base in the HUUUUUUUUUUGE global healthcare sector .Stepping then into the world of mass vaccines and anti biotics..into the citadel of bio chemistry, and onto the millitary with its need for cheap dependable mass sealings to huge volumes ofcommodoties that drive an army ,,,,and the into the world of avionics, banking, and ect ect Asi said the list is endless ,,Almost no sphere of industry will remain untapped and unexploited .. ,,,lts always the dollar ,,,,always ,,Anyway the s/p ? Depending on the rights issue,of course:- A month - much as current levels dogfighting between 16p and 18p ( with inevitable very short term sharp dips and occasional inter day highs ..- Six months -30p ( as any growing settling company ) ,,A year? -50p to 7op ( as exclusivity deal is nearing its end )And then two or three years- 500p +,Perhaps more . A lot more. lt will be a brand name in the industry. ,,,Released from its obligations with Asda or even Wal Mart SEO will fly ,,,,,and before it does ill be back ...@+ a/b J., ,,,,,,,

morning all. bears seem to be winning.
Tony Ruane, Technical Manager, Meal Solutions category at ASDA said:
'This is a first to market for ASDA - real innovation. This could well turn out
to be the biggest thing in packaging for years. The benefits for both the
environment, our customers and suppliers from this technology are far reaching.
The potential for the use of Stanelco's technology grows every time we look at
it. Every visit to both stores and suppliers identifies new areas and ways in
which the technology can be used. We are looking forward to working with
Stanelco.'
just thought i would re post this. if you do shit your pants and sell , please dont start moaning when asda "identifies new areas and ways in
which the technology can be used. "

Imagine it won't be long before it tests the 14p barrier. Personally will get back in then.
Once Evil has his claws into it then a drop is inevitable. Expect there will be some bull5h1t rumours doing the rounds soon, just to drop the SP further -- same as he did with NLR.
SEO's still a gtreat long-term prospect.

It would be grim to see 14p again. Bears are annihilating my portfolio today, I can't look at my screen anymore it's all too painful. Need a stong cup of tea and a lie down ... !

In for the long run driver I don't plan to be a panicking daytrader type. Would be nice to see resistance levels tested though but you can't have everything patience is the key (or so I understand).
The way I see it this is the last time we'll see support tested at this level, SEO has had pretty much everything thrown at it to push it back down again and now even the hallowed gimp EK. If everyone can ride this out, and barring disastrous news direct from SEO there's nothing substantial out there that could keep it from climbing long term.

stuff ek, he cant manipulate markets to the extent peeps believe......but maybe THAT is the word. BELIEVE. EK shorts, it goes down, peeps sell. how he must be laughing at the lemmings. ( all the way to the bank ). i sold out today for 15.25p and a fairly large loss. nothing to do with EK, i have thought ( and posted ) that this has risen too high too fast over the last few months. but if there is one market cliche that you can rely on ( especially when market/shares are falling ), LET THE TREND BE YOUR FRIEND.
i have no idea where the bottom might be, so i will carry on doing what ive always done. TRADE the thing when times are right.
the story remains good.....

Look how far he's driven down MMG so far, amongst other companies that are nose diving today.
This is utterly ridiculous.Investing/trading has become gambling, pure and simple.
My grandfather thought it obscene to profit from shares trading. He thought that the dividend was enough to warrant investing in a company that he believed in and wanted to support.
I have learnt my lesson with SEO...buy on expectation and sell on news??The expectation has come to fruition,so will it all be sells from now on every time there is good news?I can't believe that scenario.
Does EK know something about the cc that we don't know?
At least this is a painful way of testing support levels.
