I cannot see any reason for selling unless you are in the know.....shorting now is also very risky...I'd say more upside than downside ...at least this afternoon....

Not in this one rf, if I had I would have taken some money off the table by now. I viewed the meteoric rise but wasn't tempted, I'll watch from the sidelines. Good luck all holders though.

As this testing is taking time....might be a positive result coming....an accumulation of producing zones perhaps ?....fingers crossed....

"As this testing is taking time....might be a positive result coming."... I like the positive thinking rf, but not sure that your logic is accurate! Good or bad, it will probably take about the same time, imo. This is crucial market sensitive info, so they need to get it right, either way.

If I remember correctly Harrycat....they tested a well that flowed I think at 1300 barrels of oil...horsehill I think....miles away...if the two wells have the same result with contiguous (not sure if that is the correct term)...oil...basically the same formations...the result I think would be very very positive...they would probably looking for a third well and planning from the local councils .....lot going on for this little company....

for all sorts of obvious reasons, it's very difficult to determine "fair price" even if these tests come in with (alleged) decent results
it must surely still take another 3-5 years before production could even start, and that assumes all the necessary licences are quickly granted

of course, if the tests disappoint (someone feeding porkies into the market) then instant collapse

makes good watching, but as far as i am concerned, not remotely tempting

indeed, with the reek of lenigas surrounding this stock, and its previous history, i have never been tempted

far happier to have bought BATS, FEVR, IQE and BOO at the prices i did :-)

I also tend to stay away from the more risky stocks these days .

AZN dropped no more than UKOG today
further, though pharmas are always risky, as shown today, AZN will always be worth plenty whereas the same cannot be said of UKOG

btw, UKOG has dropped >40% from its intraday trading high of 11p yesterday

I totally agree cynic, just making the point that even the bluest of blue can come a cropper at times.

of course .... i've held those and the riskier ones too :-(
