Tweenie,

I'm awaiting the revamped SEO website, they had the following posted for the past few days:

Welcome to the Stanelco Website
Please use the the menu bar to navigate through the site

This Site is currently under review. Please be patient with us while the content is updated.

greekman - 06 Jun 2007 07:52 - 24653 of 27111

This Site is currently under review. Please be patient with us while the content is updated.

The problem is can we take anything SEO say as genuine.
They ask us to be patient while the website content is updated, and yet 1 link (biodegradable airbags) has not worked for over 12 months, with this message..

This page is in the process of being updated.
Check back soon for full product details.

So soon to SEO means 12 months plus. A bit like on the cusp, perhaps.

Perhaps they are on a different timescale to most of us.

Immiediately.....1 month plus.
Imminent.....3 months plus.
In the near future.....6 months plus.
Soon.....12 months plus.
On the cusp.....Never.

Perhaps we could take a spread bet on the time it will take for the website to be updated, or have a competition similar to the FTSE 100 2007 thread.

I will start it off.
February 2022 (I,m an optimist).

First prize...A weeks retreat in a convalescent home for the completely disillusioned.

Runner up...A years supply of Valium, (if I have any left).

Bitter, twisted and synical...You bet I am.

You can always read the research page while your waiting LOL.

I'll hazard a guess that all mentions of Greenseal will be removed from the site - a bit of history re-writing. If you check the links from the products page they all work at present bar one - try it!

weeeell, their website is as uninspiring as their performance as a company: I build websites, specialising in usability, and having invested a little in SEO sent them an email a few months back offering to redesign their site so that it actually helped them get orders ... and guess what ... still waiting for a reply ... ;)

oblomov - 06 Jun 2007 10:30 - 24658 of 27111

Precisely, Driver, thats my point! Thats a link I took from the SEO website this morning.

greekman - 06 Jun 2007 10:38 - 24659 of 27111

The only thing biodegradable about this company IS the company.

driver - 06 Jun 2007 10:46 - 24660 of 27111

I think we have done enough whingeing on the company and the sp what products are left and what future does SEO have it can only get better from here. If you play it right theres still a lot of money to be made in spite all our loses.

moneyplus - 06 Jun 2007 11:02 - 24661 of 27111

driver and all check out RGM today--the next TMC it is said!!

always nice to see something doing well!

Mad Pad - 06 Jun 2007 13:21 - 24664 of 27111

I can see no short term gain in holding this share anymore, sold another 500,000 at 09.12 this am.Might buy back in on news but really can't see any prospect of anything positive, apart from maybe a takeover bid during the next few months.

You may have done enough whingeing, but theres plenty more left in me yet. I want something for my money!

And can you tell me how to 'play it right' please - I haven't a clue. Enlighten us with why you think 'theres still a lot of money to be made' - I'm all ears!

Oilywag - 06 Jun 2007 16:29 - 24666 of 27111

Not a very flattering picture of yourself oblomov!! Your opticiians must have had great difficulty making glasses to fit your distorted cranium. Perhaps they used the dodgy mirror to help desgn them. lol.

But on a more serious note

Like Mad Pad, and I suspect many others, I have dumped my entrie holding last week and since doing so have done more research and have concluded that it is the best thing to have done.

What a weight off my shoulders!!! It has been a most cathartic experience although I have lost tens of thoussands of pounds in this investment. I now hold a Ph.D in investing and will take these lessons into my other investments.

I have seldom been more apoplectic with rage over the (previous) management of the company. I put my hand up and say to those who have known of my previous activities that I and my few colleagues who engaged in the collective research were sucked in and blown out in bubbles. This is particularly difficult to admit to as I am normally a pretty good judge of character and can normally spot BS before seeing the 'whites of their eyes'.

This episode in my investing life adds a whole new dimension and meaning to stories of "Gullibles Travels".

I personally think that a house in the Sahara desert has more chance of being hit by an iceberg than this company has of making any profit before 2009. Better to invest your hard earned in something else in the meantime where you have at least got a chance of making some profit. Unfortunately, those of you who had SEO in ISAs like I did, have lost more because we cannot write the loss off against the profits elsewhere.

The problems started in the HW era and were perpetuated by the following managment unfortunately by gross exaggeration of the commercial possibilities. Exaggeration is the kindest description of what we suffered!!

Having said that, I think the company has more chance of survival now than it did two months ago, because Paul Mines appears to have wiped the slate clean, as damaging as that has been to share price.

The only 'comfort' to be had from this is that the institutions were lied to as much as we private investors were. What worries me is that if the institutions, with all the resources at their disposal can be so gullible (apparently did not conduct sufficient due dilligence before the fund raising last year) what chance is there of PIs ever getting to the truth.

And finally, my own personal impression of T&G is that they are as useless and dangerous as a catflap on a submarine.

Good like to all who sail in this rustbucket. Be ready to send an SOS. You may have to. But I sincerely hope that you won't.

The oily one

This opinion above, notwithstanding the latest RNS issued today.

Flogging the family silver!

You'd think this would warrant an RNS.
