Bos
Certainly II and Seq are not gods and could be a pain in the way they delivered (but then the more bullish the pro lobby was, the more pleasure Seq obviously took in debunking)
BUT
the essential point they made that SEO statements were full of caveats, cavils, ifs, buts, cusps and maybes, smoke and mirrors was sound as well as the point that the fundamentals of the company always had been poor.

Yes but ii also got it wrong he said that SEO was going to 4p may be he meant .4

zscrooge - 07 Jun 2007 16:18 - 24687 of 27111

LOL

tweenie - 07 Jun 2007 17:13 - 24688 of 27111

I e-mailed seo , last week after the sp crash. It was re the 'cusp of commercialisation' ' letters of intent' and PERSECO 'vertical integration' RNS's.
I won't be holding my breath re a reply.
After estate agents and politicians SEO management come a close third as a bunch of deceitful lying................. :-)

I am totally out now as well.

This has been a disaster and with the funds I have left I am hoping to make back the losses by the end of the year which will be nothing short of a miracle.

Nascent means that things are just beginning - this means there will be nothing happening till the early part of next year - and that's a big if!!

I also feel relieved to be out of this mess - believing in something which was just an imaginery story.

A very, very, hard lesson in not believing in even what people close to the business had to say.

When it comes to us private investors we are definately on our own - even the institutions have got this one wrong as they also believed the fairytale.

Good Luck to all of you still in - but if I can take the loss that I have had to, so can you and find something else which actually has a future.

One thing to bear in mind is where your average is - if it is below 2p then you will be OK - if above you will lose money.

All the above as usual in my opinion - but I am gone.

bosley - 07 Jun 2007 20:04 - 24690 of 27111

zscrooge, i don't disagree with you. as i said, when ii first started posting he made some very good points, and i said so at the time. unfortunately, his barrage style of posting turned me off. personally, i think seq was one of the few people who got it cock-on. he just played what he saw, i.e. go long when the bulls are in control and go short when the bears have it. he didn't give a toss about seo or what it did. a good lesson to learn, dontcha fink ;)

oblomov - 07 Jun 2007 23:08 - 24691 of 27111

Those of us still in is becoming a dwindling band.

I'm in - anyone else?

jammyjimmy - 08 Jun 2007 07:05 - 24692 of 27111

Oblomov,

Please switch the lights off when you leave, there's a good chap. LOL

hewittalan6 - 08 Jun 2007 07:35 - 24693 of 27111

nyleve - 08 Jun 2007 08:30 - 24696 of 27111

Still in, no point going now.

garyble - 08 Jun 2007 09:50 - 24699 of 27111

I need a 12-bagger to break even!

Fred1new - 08 Jun 2007 09:54 - 24700 of 27111

Try SEO.
Big trees from little acorns grow.

Serious suggestion, have a look and AXS and even TAN when the turmoil is over. Both have a lot going for them.

garyble - 08 Jun 2007 09:54 - 24701 of 27111

I saw the 'N' flag up against SEO on the stockwatch screen and thought it could only be one of two things:
1) Serono announcement {I don't know why their news appears for SEO}
2} Institution reducing

My expectation was met.

nyleve - 08 Jun 2007 10:27 - 24702 of 27111

garyble

They stick an N against SEO now and again, even if it is another companys news, they feel sorry for us !!!!

greekman - 08 Jun 2007 10:43 - 24703 of 27111

In the past seeing the N it used to be anticipation of a contract, now whenever I see it I look with trepidation expecting a Stanelco has seized trading announcement. Not saying it will happen (before posters jump on me) just how my expectations have changed.
Funny peculiar (not ha ha) how things change round.

hangon - 08 Jun 2007 15:35 - 24704 of 27111

Letters "SEO" confused with two companies = on different listings.
It's all part of the poor grip Financiers have on the World and the sooner we have a six-digit EPICs the better!
Moneyam uses a Thompson-feed (I understand, DYOR)- -and this is a bit flakey to say the least; I frequently see mis-posted News - although sometimes this is due to LSE re-using an EPIC with rather too much haste....
Personally I think EPICs should be unlisted for at least 3 months even if it's a reverse takeover, so there is no mistake in looking at the sp graph before the "break" and even the worst feed-providers could work that out.

So SEO (Stanelco) has gone up - not for any good reason I hope?
It's still in the 99 club isn't it?
