Yes. Could you remove the post number 245 above please. It is becoming too personal for this BB. I think that most of us try and be polite even if we do not agree with the other posters.

Hi Mickeyskint,
I am sorry that I have had to bring all this to everybody's attention as I really enjoy reading the posts on this site. It was comments made here that made me research the company in more detail and invest in this company in the first place.
Unfortunately, as we all know there are certain people in this world who like to disrupt reasoned discussions for their own benefit.
I had hoped that by posting Haystack's blatant de-ramping remarks and showing examples of his work on other BBs, people would dismiss his comments and he would tire of posting on this BB.
I hope that this is the case but I doubt it.

You have nothing to apologise for. Others here may not be aware of him, I most certainly was as although I don't post on the other side I certainly read.
Have a good one.

Tenereds,
I have removed your posting as it concentrated on personal abuse of an individual.
You are entitled to your opinion, but please stick to discussing the topic and not the individual.

Thats the cat amongst the pigeons Ian. So this notorious haystack person, is he not de-ramping then in an unnecessary manner or was it just that IYO tenereds went too far personally. Its p'd me off cos I'm looking at EVS and all this has been a distraction. We seem to be getting too many stray folk from other boards intent on bashing stocks on moneyam, we have the insiderinsider bloke on SEO talking absolute crap and now this haystack bloke. I have and do value the moneyam boards for honest opinions but I am hoping these bashers don't ruin it in the way that they apparently do on other boards.

Must admit I was tempted to dip a toe in on Friday following the non-effect of the General Election. However, although the Support at 3.8p has now been tested on two occasions and the rising trend remains intact (albeit only just) the indicators just do not support further strength. In fact the opposite may be true. Always difficult to make a TA judgement with these small caps though. I wouldn't be surprised if it went either way to be honest, but at the moment I think I am leaning towards further weakness. Keeping on the Watchlist for now.

The point is that personal attacks are not permitted on MoneyAm. Discussions should be kept to the stocks in question. That way things do not get out of hand and we can all remain fairly polite even if we do not agree with other posters.
As for me, I am very bearish about EVS. I think they were over hyped recently, which caused a temporary rise in the share price. This seems to be being corrected at the moment and the price is returning to a more sensible level.
EVS has a business unit call CCR. I think this will lose money and be a financial drag on EVS. I don't like its business model or its methods. It has a strange system where you have to register every number that you want to call and get a substitute number for it. This seems cumbersome and most other calling systems are easier to use.
CCR may find it difficult to get cusomers as they are relatively expensive compared to many of the other calling companies. They are nowhere near the cheapest to any destination in the world.
If you do want to find cheap calls then look at this site. It is not a commercial site, but just a list of other cheap calling companies and compares their rates.

PS
I am not one of the "many stray folk from other boards ". I have been here since MoneyAm began and have been posting here since then.

You are quite right to say that personal attacks should not be permitted and we all have a right to voice an opinion about any share (holder or not). However, I hope you are not going to 'spam' this thread in the same way you have on the other side, which does you or the other posters no credit whatsoever.

My posts on the other BB are a respnse to personal abuse.
I do expect to continue to post negative views on EVS here however.

Whether EVS has any potential is a personal opinion. I don't think they have much potential at all.
The cheap call market is extremely crowded. It has large numbers of players who are much cheaper than EVS. The calling card business is also very cut throat. I see shops selling 5 calling cards at 3.50 these days to shift them.
If you travel on the Tube these days you are bombarded by large and small adverts for cheap calling services. You could easily produce a long list of cheap calling companies that are much cheaper than EVS's CCR service.
A big drawback to CCR's service is the methodology where you have to register every number that you want to call.

I would suggest that everytime the farm labourer turns up just keep posting this:
The forcasts for EVS are:
Year ending 30 June 2005: EPS 0.33p, PE 12.17
Year ending 30 June 2006: EPS 0.64p, PE 6.36, growth 91.39%

EVS has just dropped in price.
Two more MMs just dropped their prices. Two MMs now on 4p and one on 3.95p and one on 3.85p. That's 3 MMs down today.
Plenty of selling coming in now.
