relentless! Where will it end?? and how silly of me not write a book (with imagination, right oldwick?) on the subject.

Kivver - 03 Jan 2006 14:05 - 249 of 407

TAU - are you enjoying the wave?????? just when you think it cant go any further, off it goes again, and happy day for me and of course anyone else clever enough to follow my tips (given to me by another great tipster by the way). :0) .

Fred1new - 03 Jan 2006 17:45 - 250 of 407

I was stopped out of WLF at 358 on drop back from 368, not entirely pleased until I noticed Buy Volume 1,065,088 against sells of 2,961,645 ie 3/1 on higher volume than average. Also noticed some large sales 300,000 sells.

My guess this share has topped for a while and will fall back. Could be wrong.

Kivver - 03 Jan 2006 17:50 - 251 of 407

read my posts fred, ive been saying exactly the same for the last 3 weeks but it keeps on going.

Saintserf - 03 Jan 2006 22:34 - 252 of 407

if you follow the share recently it always goes up most on days when there's much more sells, as if they want the shares. And it goes down significantly on days when there are much more buys. I don't know if it's just coincidence or filling buy and sell orders in the wings. Of course people assume that if people want shares the price is moved down as a treeshake, but if that doesn't work they can just move it up to try and get profit takers that way. The problem is that there's so many momentum traders out there that shares go up just because they're going up, so in theory this makes it more likely that they'd drop the price to get sellers, to discourage the momentum traders.

Fred1new - 03 Jan 2006 23:25 - 253 of 407

What interests me are the majority of indicators I try to use are positive to the share. But the volume change is chalk as up because end of the day is up.

I dont know, but I am not unhappy with recent profit.

Kivver - 04 Jan 2006 09:03 - 254 of 407

''the trend is my friend'' but apparently for few others, oh well i did tell you.

Fred1new - 04 Jan 2006 10:44 - 255 of 407

Kivver, to keep you happy there is a buy out from City Group with target price of 416p, Where they derive that figure from with its forecasts I don't know.

I agree the trend is your friend until IT ENDS. I still feel a little to jumpy about this share and think there will be a slight correction. In the meanwhile replaced it with Amlin.

Kivver - 04 Jan 2006 11:04 - 256 of 407

Cheers fred, im very happy and in very good profit thank you. (also hold azm, kmr, NG., hmy, asc, cyh and bprg, amonst others).

tau - 04 Jan 2006 11:52 - 257 of 407

needless to say kivver!

tau - 05 Jan 2006 20:37 - 258 of 407

small piece in yesterdays Guardian re:Citigroup increase target price to 416p.

'The US broker believes its sales forecasts for 2005 could be too low given strong iPod sales over Christmas. Citigroup has also raised its sales forecasts for 2006 to $231m (132m) from $201m and for 2007 to $300m from $232m, to take account of a new power-saving product that Wolfson plans to launch this year. "We believe that over time Wolfson will target selling a power management solution with every product they currently sell into the portable (device) market," Citigroup said.'

Kivver - 06 Jan 2006 14:43 - 259 of 407

buys still outnumbering sells. results the 1st of feb.

Kivver - 09 Jan 2006 09:45 - 260 of 407

384p, the rise fantastic continues, so suprised with so many experts on these bb's that there is not more interest in wolfy. OH well, chuffed with my 33% profit in 5 weeks. The big question, take the profits or hold on for more. Results out on the 6th feb. Long term looks good with new products coming on line.

mvp45 - 09 Jan 2006 10:22 - 261 of 407

I think this is a share that will soar in the long term so worth holding onto.

Kivver - 09 Jan 2006 12:03 - 262 of 407

then up some more, wooooooooooooooow

knute - 09 Jan 2006 16:08 - 263 of 407

EGM called for 26th Jan - BEFORE results!
Must be urgent?

Kivver - 09 Jan 2006 16:18 - 264 of 407

why would this be, anyone know???

tau - 09 Jan 2006 17:37 - 265 of 407

Big commercial announcement?? Would be great! EGM is a bit out of the blue especially in its timing, some mutterings on other boards suggest the urgency is to help avoid info leaking. Really could not speculate but may be worth keeping an eye open for suggestions in the media.

tau - 10 Jan 2006 13:25 - 266 of 407

Further speculation on advfn is that the EGM is quite dull regarding 'employee incentives'...options etc. Accordingly, the co. has been contacted and this was their response. Slight pullback in sp today can only be healthy for any pre-result surge!?

Kivver - 10 Jan 2006 16:00 - 267 of 407

today may be another buying opportunity, it certainly was for me, but this is a share on the rise, a bit boring really! Buys out weighing the sells even with the drop.
