Biotec greatly increases Bioplastics capacity
Wednesday, 27 June 2007, 14:30 GMT
Biotec GmbH, the 50/50 subsidiary of Stanelco PLC (UK) and Groupe Sphere (France) has installed a new 5m Silo, and plans for producing bioplastics on a big scale commence at the end of July.
The Emmerich-based company "Biotec" is being visited by a range of celebrities, including the Walmart board of directors and a French film team. Even French president Nicolas Sarkozy is impressed by Biotec products. He looked at products such as bin bags and carrier bags at "Sphere" in Paris, that are being produced on the basis of granules manufactured by Biotec.
As of July, Biotec will manufacture granule for biodegradable plastics. This is of particular interest in France, since oil-based plastic bags will be banned from 2010. "Sphere", the French mother company recognised the signs and bought Biotec one and a half years ago and will now manufacture bin bags from the granules, with great future perspectives.
The company manufactures granules that serve as plastic raw material based on potato starch. The advantages: It is a renewable ressource. Experts fear that there will be no more oil in 30 years from now. The properties are similar to standard plastic bag, but is biodegradable within two weeks.

Nothing new - different version of the previous report, but at least it mentions SEO specifically.

It is good to see a mention of SEO in connection with this but I hope that I am being pessimistic when I look at the RNS that referred to all this being 'nascent': an anagram of that in French is 'cent ans', SPhere is French so would it mean 100 years before profit, or SPhere saying "involve Stanelco?, non, not in a cent ans"?!

Snippet from the RNS;
the Stanelco sales and product
pipeline is currently nascent and is expected to be developed over the course of
the next 18 months or so. '
Just for fun, lets change the word nascent to the Oxford English Dictionary definition of the word;
the Stanelco sales and product pipeline is currently
just coming into existence and is expected to be developed over the course of the next 18 months or so. '
Add this to the news from Biotec and its American visitors and there is a faint glimmer of hope.
I read the RNS as stating that sales are just starting and will take 18 months to reach potential, rather than will not start for 18 months...........but I am used to getting it wrong with SEO.

Bloody stop it NOW!
We've all been on that merry-go-round, or should it be "Big Dipper" for some time now........this is the seed of 1 to 35 per share chit chat.
REAL NEWS OF DEFINITE REVENUE is required!

garyble,
Have you no ambition?? I was thinking more on the 70-80 line.......;-)
Seriously, with any other quoted stock, I would take the RNS as being very positive for the next year or so, but this being SEO, nascent could mean any bloody thing!!
As it is SEO, you are of course right, we must wait for hard news that is not open to strange definitions, but I doubt we will get that untill after the event and when the big boys have had their fill at the watering hole.

Yes, and it also shows how powerful the green lobby is, and the fact that some companies are even spending more (McDonald's have stated that running there vehicles on Bio Diesel will not be cost effective) just to look green and environmentally friendly.
As to Stanelco loosing out, par for the course, if they have.

Sick of false hopes and sky high expectationa coupled with zero sales.
Will wait and see what end of month brings re BIOTEC output
will it increase /begin production of a large scale as hyped over past few weeks?
as of yet still -JAM TOMORROW.
Refusing to get my hopes up.
though the sp is a bargain- i think i'd have a date with a shallow grave if the missus found out i'd brought anymore of these damned shares.
Filed for LONG term and happy to sit and wait to see whether this company goes BLUE SKY or slips at the last.
the only consolation is that with an sp of .05p there is'nt far to fall. ANYMORE.

Can anyone enlighted me as to how long the Stanelco site has been "under review"? They cant even get the web-site right. If you look at the home site logo in the top left had corner you will find its mis-aligned.
They should be called "Stan Laurel And Co"
I'm still hoping this chronic outfit can produce a positive result for us PI's. why oh why...
