Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

It is certainly pleasant that Labour is just a footnote and can be ignored.

At your peril!
With the tories in self destruct mode, they don't have to do anything other than wait.
I don't know which tory split is stabbing the other in the back the quickest.
Could be Macbeth.

Some Germans don't want a Federal Union and they generally are from the far right of politics as in France with Le Pen and in this country with UKIP and the looney right of the tory party.
The more moderate see the social and financial advantages of more integration, rather than becoming a fringe member, hoping to pick up crumbs.
The German government is more scared of holding a referendum than ours on staying in the EU as for years now every opinion poll is 60%+ on leaving !

Haystack - 09 May 2013 09:15 - 24831 of 24858
If the poll is wrong then what it is relative to is not important. Their polling numbers are often tiny as their signed up population get bored. They also cannot do demographically random
selections.

There you are Tanker.
From no less than "The Times
David Cameron was forced to admit that the Government was issuing contradictory orders to the banking sector even as he pledged to end the remorseless “bashing” of the City. The Prime Minister told an investment conference in London that he wanted Britain to play to its strengths by defending its banking sector, amid fears over tougher Brussels regulations including a cap on bonuses and a mooted tax on financial transactions, according to The Times.
Seems like I will say anything to stay in "power".

Tanker,
Don't blow a fuse, for if you need emergency admission through A and E into the "safe in our hands" NHS hospital, you will only need to make an appointment 3 weeks before the event.
Three years into their tenure, Cameron, Osborne and his crew are still pressing the destruct buttons.
The public are paying their management fees for destroying the NHS.
Many at the election will see this government's successes and vote UKIP as a justifiable revolt.

Misquoting, somebody or other.
"Cameron is fatally stabbed, staggering round the stage in his death throes. The government is in its death throes."
------------
Tanker,
If your "migrants" go home, the NHS would collapse.
From experiences of many, many of the most diligent doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff are the immigrants.
The migrants often filling roles which many of the indigenous population feel beneath them, or they are not prepared to do.
======
Much of the ranting of UKIP and Looney tory right wing does not have basis in fact and is used as a diversion by the Con party from the real problems of the UK and their own problems.
Like in the 1930-40 they are practising populist ideas and scapegoatism. The present tory party, really is the Nasty Party.
