Non Farm Day! The most exciting Day in the calendar.

Didnt Scalp myself but a coleague managed to get +35 not bad on such whippy numbers. How we all doing today?

hodgins - 07 Jan 2005 14:00 - 2496 of 11056

bonds whipped a full point or so up then down on where they were but it's all about back where it was. So no money made here and sitting "hedged"? on a few positions that would probably be better closed

Actually total muppet trader of the day award due here. Went short 30 year T-bond just under 112 and a half just before 1.30. It immediately went to 113+-oops!, then it dived to just over 111 brushing up against a limit I had in. Well I was too busy trying to move the limit further down and by the time I got to adjusting the stop the profits were almost gone and I am now back to sitting on a small loss. Possibly happy to hold this as a medium term trade but what an itiot!

Always next month..

Maggot - 07 Jan 2005 16:00 - 2499 of 11056

Had one oco stop on Cable hit exactly before it zoomed down past my buy limit; then was stopped out by that weird spike up at 15.30. As always, if I'd left my first sell order this morning I'd have made lots... instead, made a loss today.

Divetime - 10 Jan 2005 07:16 - 2500 of 11056
