At least you've gained 3 years!

Peter Odemwingie joins Stoke as Kenwyne Jones signs for Cardiff

Cardiff forward Peter Odemwingie has joined Stoke in a swap deal that has seen Potters striker Kenwyne Jones sign for the Welsh club.
Nigeria international Odemwingie, 32, struggled at Cardiff since joining in the summer and was out of favour under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Jones, 29, was frozen out at Stoke after refusing to play against Liverpool.

Dil - 28 Jan 2014 16:08 - 2507 of 6918

Odemwingie has been a waste of money and getting anything in exchange for him was a bonus.

Stan - 28 Jan 2014 16:19 - 2508 of 6918

Wasn't that Odem bloke pushing for a move from West Brom? Finally got one and then fails to impress at your place.

Dil - 28 Jan 2014 16:39 - 2509 of 6918

Yeah he drove down to QPR last season on deadline day in Jan but they didn't want him. Can see why now , never seemed motivated or interested in playing.

Watch out for Daehli he's gonna be a star , turned down a move back to Man U to stay with Ole and come to Cardiff.

Stan - 28 Jan 2014 16:44 - 2510 of 6918

"Daehli" Is that the youngster signed recently?

Dil - 28 Jan 2014 16:49 - 2511 of 6918

Yeah one of them. He left Man U academy to join Molde with Ole but Man U had a buyback option. When Cardiff approached him Man U jumped in and spoke to him but he told them to sod off apparently.

Played 10 minutes against Bolton and looked pure class. Only reason he might not start tonight is if Ole doesn't want to rush him as it's been the close season in Norway so he's not been playing. I think it's worth risking him.

Stan - 28 Jan 2014 17:00 - 2512 of 6918

Might be worth it if Ole thinks Daehli would like to make a point.

Sky Sports need to get their act together, having to watch Gillette Soccer Specials instead of live football is not good enough when you consider what they charge for the sports channels.

2517GEORGE - 29 Jan 2014 15:34 - 2514 of 6918

Absolutely agree doodlebug4, quite a few domestic matches last night, with zilch live on sky, bl---y rubbish.
2517

doodlebug4 - 29 Jan 2014 20:18 - 2515 of 6918

2517 - here we go again, 4 matches in the Premier and all we get is another Gillette Soccer Special.

Dil - 29 Jan 2014 20:42 - 2516 of 6918

BT sports had Liverpool v Everton last night and Spurs v Man Ciity tonight.

Or if you type wiziwig into google , every single Premier League match is available on your PC. I watched Man U v Cardiff last night and have only missed one Cardiff game all season.
