The green eyed monster in me was alerted to the posting of NSB Retail being up 950% in just 11 months. Does anyone have any tips on who the next NSB could be ? Top 5 penny shares.

Buy into HST right now, 1.6-1.8 pence.

HST 1.7-1.8 pence, 2 MM buys, something brewing.

HST 1.7-1.85 pence, bought 156,000 shares at 1.75 pence.

How did this share catch ur eye??? Any news or trading statments on the way??

I think Cater Barnard CRB @ .45 is better.

It has been on my monitor for a while. There seems to be a breakout in progress. There was some talk that they had reduced their debt and their results to be released in June would be good.

Price up to 1.70-1.95 pence now.

The spread is too wide for the moment, so maybe not a short term buy. Long term play.

Arjen-why do you like CRB? I have held these for years and am losing lots, any chance I might recover it???

5 Feb finals show - in my opinion - it is not going to fold and has reasonable
prospects for upside: I have to research in detail.
No fold up = virtually no downside @ .45

They started off as a provider of ofshore telecom services to the marine industry, bad choice it did not work out. They have now changed direction to a provider of network security, providing integrated high performance solutions to large corporate enterpise customers, mobile service providers, financial service providers and various public sector organisations
Itand are shortly to be re named Matrix. This is due to a number of aquistions Matrix which they bought in an all share deal for about 1.2m and was generating profit of 160k in the fist four months of 2003. Thet also have other letters of intent fom XchangePoint Europe. Then they took over Intrinsic network security who have customers such as VOD, Yorkshire water. On top of this they have a 50% interest in Norwod. The company is expecting profits of 1.2m this year. They have also announced the ex cisco boss has joined them as non exec and he grew the UK business by aquisitions to 100m.
It has already put on 225%,there will be ups and downs but the future looks rosy.

What is a penny share? ie less than 10p, or 99p and below....and what about the market cap ? Sorry to be pedantic!

Mostly this is classified at below a pound. If in total company X has 20,000,000
shares at 50p each its market cap equals 10,000,000 ie total valuation

BLR - excellent news out today, price 2.1-2.5 pence.
