I am interested to hear what has to be said for/against Zambezi Nickel. Very new company to the market... Nickle is used to make stainless steel, think this could push up price. Mitaba Prospect:

Paulwi Prospect:
The pear-shaped Paulwi intrusion has been gravity-differentiated into a gabbroic upper portion of 3,000 metres depth and basal serpentinised dunite portion of 2,000 metres depth... [goes on to say] comparable to the deposit being mined at the 11 million ton per annum operation at Mt Keith, Western Australia.

Some good news, has helped lift the share price

Had a good run recently, this could be due to the rising nickel prices, and drilling update

Over the last 60 days:
LME warehouse stock levels has fallen to 18948 (-6912)thousand tonnes -41.52%
Price has increased to 9.2984 (+2.5776)$US/lb +27.72%...
things are looking good for nickle at the mo... sp up again!

Not much news out, hopefully some more news will come though soon... the price of nickle has backed off recently as well, but still historically high

Yesterdays news but still interesting

Well done, anyone who's making a profit here. However, with the shares in issue due to double tomorrow, and a placing price of just 5p, don't be surprised if there's a drop on profit-taking.

Definitely worth watching, however.

A quick question, though - what happened to the JORC report that was due by end 06? And is ZNI actually near production in any way, shape or form?

Foale, is it really? I'm not a fan of efficient market theory. Quite content to wait and be proven wrong, but if I was a fund manager and felt like making a quick buck, I would.

However, I do seem to recall that Zambezi Resources is scooping up half of the placing shares, which implies it's in for the long term, so maybe there won't be that much movement after all.

So did I. But it's easy to lose on these big risers as well, ie if bought at 10p+ today.

I've got a feeling SER might surprise a few people with the imminent update.
