I am posting again as I believe that anything in this arena will have a dramatic effect on the results.........

In the 2006 fin-stat there was an impairment for GBP 5.5M (Greenseal et al.) within the "Development Costs". However, there was no provision made within "Goodwill".

Considering that Goodwill is GBP 14M (is this mostly Biotec ?) and if so, is it still worth approx GBP 28M ? If not, under IFRS, there may a goodwill revaluation. Any views ? (note that although BIO is sexy, it has lost value in the last six months)

With anymore rationalisation of the SEO portfolio, there will be another "development cost" impact and hence more exceptional items to come.

Well a nice close. Little tick up every day now and then back to over 1p after results. With some positive news re patent challenge 1.50p!!!

Good volume of trades today and nice little tick up. We are all set for Monday. Not expecting fireworks but it's now up to Mr Mines to tell us his plans for the company. Obviously any good news re the patent challenges and the sp will fly. Having said that, if there are no changes since the last update in July we could still reach 1p soon, as long as the CEOs statement is positive.

Paul Mines has only been at the helm since April, he has a good background, let's see what he has to offer us. Good Luck All

Interims in line with expectations,lets all go and hibernate for a few years.Any one else in Providence resources ,we just struck oil/gas off Ireland.

Thank goodness I had more sense than to plough some more "hard-earned" into SEO on the run-up to interims.

However, news as I'd expected so no surprises.

The ship is still floating, all aboard are furiously trying to plug all the leaks and holes....let's hope they don't miss one!

Not much point in plugging leaks and holes when the ship has broken up on the rocks.
