greekman - 21 Sep 2007 10:38 - 25088 of 27111

I have stopped comparing the SEO of the present with the SEO of old. I bought in at an average of 7.5p as a very high risk buy, probably the most percentage high risk share of my entire portfolio.
I have just reviewed my position by looking at SEO as a potential investor would who has just discovered a new company.
I have looked at the fundamentals, results, analysis, products, potential and most importantly the sp to risk ratio.
This may not be the thick slice of jam tomorrow most of us thought it would be, but it may possibly be a reasonable slice by this time next year.
I have come to the conclusion that SEO are still a sky blue (but not so sky high) or bust share, but at the current sp is worth a punt.
So not increasing/decreasing but intend to sit tight.

Why the drop?

hewittalan6 - 25 Sep 2007 15:34 - 25091 of 27111

This is SEO, Driver......................
So the question should be, why not?????
;-)

greekman - 25 Sep 2007 16:30 - 25092 of 27111

The Drop, why? An institution selling! OK not a huge amount but it don't take much to knock what confidence is left in this share.

kimoldfield - 25 Sep 2007 17:52 - 25093 of 27111

Schroders are still holding nearly 417m shares though, worth more than 1.6m. They obviously think it's safer to keep them than put the money in the bank, a nice little deposit at NRK would have brought them a good bit of interest!

trebletrouble - 26 Sep 2007 01:56 - 25094 of 27111

The drop in sp is a mystery to me but still holding and still believe we can come through. We need to climb from here to 0.60p once that is broken sp will rise very quickly.

aldwickk - 26 Sep 2007 04:31 - 25095 of 27111

Trebletrouble,

Dream on, LOL.

blackdown - 26 Sep 2007 08:09 - 25096 of 27111

I like the logic: 'we need to climb to 0.60p; once that is broken sp .........'. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Share prices don't move on need, they move on buying and selling. With 3 billion shares in issue, there needs to be a lot of buying to shift the SEO sp.

greekman - 28 Sep 2007 08:23 - 25097 of 27111

As we know the big push SEO were doing a couple of years ago re bio-degradeable carrier bags for supermarkets is now history, I post this just for a bit of interest, as at the time millions of pounds per year were mentioned.
Our local Tesco is changing the carrier bag use from next Monday.
From that date customers will be given green type re-usable bags, made from Hessian type material. If you want a plastic carrier bag you will have to ask.
No doubt all Tesco stores will be evaluating this as presumably our Tesco is being used as a tester.
Where Tesco lead others follow.

explosive - 28 Sep 2007 13:28 - 25098 of 27111

The question of the day has to be how far can the sp fall before it gets suspended...... Next RNS could well read Stanelco no longer viable for trade on AIM, I figure this would be the only logical step to slow down the demise in progress...... JC

tweenie - 28 Sep 2007 13:32 - 25099 of 27111

0.6p................... I remember those days.
guess that was'nt the RNS you were expecting then trebletrouble.
still if you buy now you'll be twice as rich.
:-)

or ever more out of pocket.
Are we heading for a cheap sell off?
