LIBYA - updating news

cynic - 02 Mar 2011 11:48

starting this thread, which i hope will be short-lived, to keep the board up to date with latest reports gleaned from the net

cynic

Oh eye sea you wrote i instead of I or was it 1 anyway dont do it agaIn other peeps read this U NO.

Bernard M - 28 Mar 2011 15:04 - 252 of 685

On one hand you write using fancy words, only to let yourself down by incorrect English.

You can't have it both ways even if you are an avid fan of the brown door, which you seem to be, Mr cut & paste.

cynic - 28 Mar 2011 15:10 - 254 of 685

you will almost never find me using cut and paste, and if i choose to write technically incorrect english, then i shall do so ..... i also use certain words because i like the feel of them or because they are fun or because they convey some subtlety to the meaning.

how you have managed to deduce my sexual proclivities would make a fascinating thread, so perhaps you'ld like to do so, or at least expound in depth for the enlightenment of all

cynic - 28 Mar 2011 15:13 - 255 of 685

mn .... i'm sorry to say that the senior management world is full of these guys ..... they're all terrified of making what may be perceived as an incorrect decision, so dither instead ..... it costs their employers zillions

driver - 28 Mar 2011 15:14 - 256 of 685

Bernard M

I know I said I read this but what is post 247 all about its a bit long I had to go and get another biscuit for my tea it keeps mentioning God but what if youre a none believer like me its a bit selfish.

Bernard M - 28 Mar 2011 15:16 - 257 of 685

Mr Pedantic has spoken so everyone else shut up. He seems like the sort who used to get bullied at school.

cynic - 28 Mar 2011 15:17 - 258 of 685

silly boy! ..... it's not really meant for real reading; it's to cure insomnia

meanwhile, to get back on track, it would be really good to hear the views of other members about what is happening in libya and perhaps how they perceive the future there ...... it's a sort-of a natural progression from the reason i started this thread in first place

Bernard M - 28 Mar 2011 15:22 - 259 of 685

Mr Pedantic

driver - 28 Mar 2011 15:23 - 260 of 685

bm

Now Im totally lost whos Mr Pedantic I thought you was Bernard Matthews.

Bernard M - 28 Mar 2011 15:24 - 261 of 685

Mr Pedantic is Mr Cynic know all, public school educated toff.

Bernard M - 28 Mar 2011 15:28 - 262 of 685

bm

Nothing to do with turkeys then?

cynic - 28 Mar 2011 15:32 - 264 of 685

interesting that anyone who went to public school is regarded by bm as a toff, whatever that may actually mean

as for the eponymous bernard matthews, he was certainly not public school educated, but nor was he a turkey ..... having read his obit, he was assuredly an interesting character, but i think i'ld rather have had business dealings with george and billy walker who were almost certainly much better company

Bernard M - 28 Mar 2011 15:35 - 265 of 685

Both thieves.

mnamreh - 28 Mar 2011 15:37 - 266 of 685

Don't get C started he allready spouts his mind of useless information.

driver - 28 Mar 2011 15:41 - 268 of 685

Im out of here LOL.

cynic - 28 Mar 2011 15:42 - 269 of 685

pretty questionable ...... billy was a pug who punched above his weight, but i suspect was his brother's inferior in mental agility ..... george was an ok boxer in his day, but was arguably unlucky to get mangled in the (mid 80s?) property crash ..... while it is true he was charged with fraud or somesuch, he was found not guilty ..... i certainly admire that after the collapse of brent walker and his personal bankruptcy, he continued to fight hard to make a comeback rather than just crumbling

"Almost every thing in the ME has implications for Palestine (currently temporarily called Israel). " says the parrot. What a nutter ! LOL
I thought I'd look at this thread to see if the usual suspects, fred and the parrot on his shoulder could twist this round onto Israel.
Guess what ! LOL
Parrot, you really should get trreatment for your Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
For fred there is even less hope as he is the Galloway/Livingstone/Wedgwood-Benn/Bob Crow of moneyam.
