Improved website but "RECENT NEWS"sadly lacking.I wonder if we won't be all saying the same thing about PET in a years time?

driver - 09 Oct 2007 08:53 - 25127 of 27111

Tonyrelaxes
Late 60's on a 650ss Norton also did Chelsea Bridge after the 59 club every Thur Sat night.

kimoldfield - 09 Oct 2007 09:29 - 25128 of 27111

Just had a quick glance at the new website, it looks as though SEO are responsible for creating very large, scary butterflies!

hewittalan6 - 09 Oct 2007 09:43 - 25129 of 27111

Demonstrating the chaos theory, Kim.
A big scary butterfly flaps its wings in Indonesia and this results in violent financial storms in England to SEO shareholders, resulting in bankruptcy and repossession.
Well known scientific theory that the CEO was explaining to me as the reason the SP has plummeted.
Didn't beleive him at first but its more plausible than the drivel they have handed out before.

tweenie - 09 Oct 2007 10:03 - 25130 of 27111

So it takes months of planning and 's expenditure to produce this website.
Money well spent -especially when it's not theirs. - I guess my expectations are/were TOO HIGH.
Another huge dissapointment.
Why can't they just go tits up - then at least i'd be put out of my misery.
Very dissapointed when i did'nt see stealth shields and plasma rays under 'Other Technology' - that might have explained where all the moneis going and why there are'nt any sales .

kimoldfield - 09 Oct 2007 10:42 - 25131 of 27111

Perhaps the butterflies are a subtle way of saying that SEO will use only GM crops?! No, can't be, subtly has never been their strong point.

driver - 09 Oct 2007 13:12 - 25132 of 27111

We use to have a crap Web Site and a reasonable sp now we have a reasonable Web Site and a double crap sp.

garyble - 09 Oct 2007 13:16 - 25133 of 27111

Well,

Its a step in the right direction and we now have a functional and reasonably standard business-like website.

New brooms appear to have almost fully swept clean:
1) Kicked the white elephant of GS into touch
2) Bit the bullet and re-evaluated goodwill
3) Re-branded Starpol and standardised with Biotec's Bioplast thus subtly dodging the issue and reference to FDA approval of Starpol 3000
4) Factual and need-to-know news releases without the old SEOism

I think/hope the foundations have now been laid for some positive strides forward.

driver - 09 Oct 2007 13:19 - 25134 of 27111

So as well as dropping GREENSEAL they have dumped SOLUTAPE, BIODEGRADABLE CORK for WINE BOTTLES, PETAL PACK, PulsLine, and Water Soluble Embroidery Film. Nice of them to tell us.

driver - 09 Oct 2007 13:22 - 25135 of 27111

Just found Petal Pack renamed Flowerfrog.

Dont use the Historic Share Price Lookup (on the investors page) it will make you cry.

StarFrog - 09 Oct 2007 13:34 - 25136 of 27111

That Flowerfrog is a cousin of mine ;-)

garyble - 09 Oct 2007 13:38 - 25137 of 27111

Driver,

I think this approach is the more sensible, rather than the go for the big boys, best thing since sliced bread, headless chickens brigade.

There appears to be some focus on those things that will bring in relatively immediate revenue. This is essential, especially with limited resources.

oblomov - 09 Oct 2007 14:07 - 25138 of 27111

From the Legal Notice page of the new website:-

'The information may be subject to change.'

and

'Stanelco plc, which includes its directors, employees and agents, accepts no liability for any loss, damage, cost or expense, whether direct or indirect, incurred by you the User, as a result of any error, omission or misrepresentation in any information on this site, or available though it, or from the use of any products or services obtained through it. No warranty is given or to be implied against patent infringement.'

No change there, then!

antofelli - 09 Oct 2007 14:20 - 25139 of 27111

Scary butterfly? .... Indonesia? ....Well known scientific theory?

What does it mean?

Thanks

Tonyrelaxes - 09 Oct 2007 15:24 - 25140 of 27111

I agree about the Website. Certainly an improvement although thin on details. It gives a sence of a 'Start Up'.
How they maintain it, and with what developments and news is the $64,000 question.

I await next AGM or other opportunity to hear and talk with PM.

- - - - - - - - - -

No mention of bio-degradable ciggy filters. Pity. Now, more than ever, they are needed just outside my pub. At least PL's advice was good advice "Don't hold your breaths" !

If you want to see grown men weep try this -www.stanelcoplc.com/share_calculator.html

lostalot - 09 Oct 2007 18:11 - 25141 of 27111

Share calculator now working

Tonyrelaxes - 09 Oct 2007 22:35 - 25142 of 27111

Exactly.
My comment was not about the efficacy of the calculator but the losses it would show to many here.
