greekman - 15 Oct 2007 16:29 - 25160 of 27111

Amazing what you sometime find clearing out old wardrobes.
Yesterday I found a groat (Groat is the traditional name of an English silver coin worth four old English pennies). 4 old pence = 1.5 new pence, so at a present buy price of .38p my groat can buy me 4 SEO shares.
Just how low is the sp of SEO capable of going.

tweenie - 15 Oct 2007 18:00 - 25161 of 27111

I have faith that this share CAN go lower.
:-)
No presents for the kids this xmas.............again.

explosive - 16 Oct 2007 19:22 - 25162 of 27111

nyleve - 17 Oct 2007 10:40 - 25166 of 27111

Have not been on thread for a while, been suffering deep depression since buying into SEO a couple of years ago, like many of you, I am sure.
Miss all the regulars that used to banter here most days, all gone to greener pastures I guess (no pun intended).
Anyway, some left so keep living in hope.
I am sure we will all be rewarded one day for our loyalty - then I woke up !!!
Dave

kimoldfield - 18 Oct 2007 08:25 - 25167 of 27111

'Tis good to dream Dave! I have just had a dream that someone has bought 3,029,388 shares this morning at 0.42.

tweenie - 18 Oct 2007 08:47 - 25168 of 27111

That's a NIGHTMARE.

greekman - 18 Oct 2007 09:04 - 25169 of 27111

Yes, although the buy of 3 mill plus shares is not a big amount in monetary terms it is unusual these days. Someone was willing to pay over the odds for this amount.
Either someone in the know, (doubtful) someone who hopes to be lucky or a fool.
The sp sell will have to move about 15% for any profit.

tweenie - 18 Oct 2007 09:35 - 25170 of 27111

.5p by xmas
:-)

it had to be done.
sorry........................ I'll get my coat

oblomov - 18 Oct 2007 09:43 - 25171 of 27111

nyleve - 18 Oct 2007 09:44 - 25172 of 27111

Don't half seem a long way to .08, 3.5, 5.6, 11.0 and 21 lol, got a feeling Greekman I come under the third category !!!!
Just hope CDN does better for me.
Blimey, SEO up 16%, half way to first target, they must have sold something at last !
Dave

Industry Channel: Transport & Distribution

Email articleComment on this articleStanelco, manufacturer of BioPlast biodegradable resin, has chosen Meachers Group as its logistics provider. The deal was made as part of the companys plan to outsource its distribution from Manchester and Southampton.
Meachers recently expanded Derby depot will manage the flow of goods and services throughout the supply chain including warehousing, order processing and distribution, to customers throughout the UK.
Oast Agencies, Meachers Southampton based freight forwarding arm, will handle the shipment of goods to Stanelcos customers in Europe, the USA and other export areas.
Dave Wetters, sales director, Stanelco, said: "Meachers was chosen because it had the advantage of having its headquarters close to us at Southampton yet could provide us with cost effective warehousing and distribution from its centrally located depot in Derby. The fact that its freight forwarding company, Oast Agencies, can organise shipments of product to Europe and our more distant markets was also a significant advantage.

hewittalan6 - 18 Oct 2007 14:23 - 25175 of 27111

At the risk of stating the obvious, this must surely mean they have sold something to somebody.
Cannot believe that it is RF sealing based as this sounds more like a consumables proposition.
Wonder what they have sold and to which poor sods?
My first thought was it was to deliver the office equipment they have flogged on E-bay in order to make ends meet, but that would be just too cynical..............

tweenie - 18 Oct 2007 14:46 - 25176 of 27111

Alan. STOP IT, STOP IT NOW.
your trying to get our hopes up.
it'll only end in dissapointment.
But all the same, everythings crossed.
:-)

I'm glad it was'nt announced as an RNS -promising Jam tomorrow.

18/10/2007 : News,Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution

Meachers wraps up deal with Stanelco PLC
Meachers Group has wrapped up a deal with Southampton based Stanelco plc, manufacturers of BioPlast biodegradable resin. Meachers beat off stiff competition to win the contract by demonstrating its ability to offer a seamless turnkey operation through it Southampton and Derby locations.

Appointing Meachers as its logistics provider follows the decision by Stanelco Plc to outsource its distribution from Manchester and Southampton. Meachers' Derby depot will manage the flow of goods and services throughout the supply chain including warehousing, order processing and distribution to customers throughout the UK. In addition, Meachers Southampton based freight forwarding arm, Oast Agencies, will be handling the shipment of goods to Stanelco's customers in Europe, the USA and other export areas.

Stanelco plc and its sister company Biotec GmbH have developed BioPlast, a revolutionary new family of polymer materials that are certified biodegradable and compostable. Developed as a viable alternative to using fossil fuels for polymer based products, Bioplast 2189, for example, is based on PLA - a derivative of cornstarch and other natural sustainable materials. It is designed to produce a rigid film or sheet with an oxygen barrier which may enhance food product life, can be frozen without becoming brittle and is easy to convert at lower temperature, thereby reducing the energy cost of manufacture.

"We needed to find a company that could provide us with a total logistics package", said Dave Wetters, Sales Director of Stanelco plc. "Meachers was chosen because it had the advantage of having its headquarters close to us at Southampton yet could provide us with cost effective warehousing and distribution from its centrally located depot in Derby. The fact that its freight forwarding company, Oast Agencies, can organise shipments of product to Europe and our more distant markets was also a significant advantage."

Last month the Meachers Group expanded its warehousing facilities in Derby by over fifty-percent. The company has purchased an additional warehouse adjacent to its one-acre site at Raynesway, Derby to cater for a substantial increase in demand for storage following the winning of some major new accounts. The new facility brings the total amount of storage managed by the company to around 160,000sq-ft at its two locations in Derby and Southampton.

Commenting, Gary Whittle, Commercial Manager
said: "Manufacturers and distributors are now looking to outsource logistics operations which integrate with their own business strategies. Through ongoing investment in technology and facilities Meachers is able to offer best business practices to its customers' supply chains to provide a seamless outsourced operation".
