Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Within Miliband’s circle, meanwhile, there is said to be a sense of paralysis and mounting crisis. ‘Madness’, was one description of the atmosphere in the Miliband camp in the wake of the recent intervention by Tony Blair, in which he criticised Labour’s drift into a ‘comfort zone’.
There was even thought given to an all-out assault on Blair and his New Labour legacy. In the end Miliband himself vetoed the plan.
But the bitterness that exists towards Blair among Miliband’s team goes to the heart of Labour’s problems.
From the moment he was elected leader, Miliband has been governed by one guiding principle: think what Tony Blair would have done, then do the opposite.

The point I'm making - day after day on here the Cons are run out and as you can see from above the Labour party is not a lot different. It does seem to go unnoticed from a certain party and no doubt it will carry on. :-))

Anyone been to Florida and not checked their lottery ticket. :-))
A single ticket holder has won the biggest Powerball lottery jackpot in history, scooping an estimated \$590.5m (£389m).
The \$2 ticket was bought at a supermarket in Zephyrhills, Florida, according to the state's lottery executive Cindy O'Connell.
The winning numbers were 10, 13, 14, 22 and 52, and the Powerball was 11

Increasingly, there are reports coming out of the Labour party of desperation among their leaders. Miliband is being seen as unelectable, which he was all along. It is now too late for Labour to change its leader. As the economy improves things will just get worse for Labour. The EU referendum has wrong footed Labour and they don't know how to get themselves out of the hole they have dug.

Hays,
It strikes the hole dug by Cameron is his own and he has jumped into it.
To have a referendum in 2017 when you don't know the outcome of a negotiations, or the economic situation is B. stupid.
Opting out will create chaos and the costs of doing so colossal, the bill will be handed out to the UK in one way or another.

But I am glad you think your party of cons is united.
"Splits expected as MPs prepare to debate gay marriage"
Plans to legalise same-sex marriage in England and Wales return to the Commons later, amid continuing opposition from some Conservative activists and MPs.
The Marriage Bill was approved by a 225-vote majority when it was last debated by MPs in February, but nearly half of all Tories voted against it.
Some critics have tabled an amendment saying heterosexual couples should be able to have civil partnerships.
But ministers call this a "complicated distraction" which may delay the bill".

I think that heterosexual couples should be able to have civil partnerships.
It may address the rights of the partners and families to pension arrangements.

The gay marriage is just a temporary distraction. Once the legislation is passed, people will forget about it very soon.

D4,
May have been well chosen!

But I know how Cameron can get out of this scrape.
Devolve more central powers to the UKIP or have another referendum.

No one can now see what you get when you put a Bullingdon bully boy, who specialises in PR, in charge.
He is not fit for purpose. Put Hays in charge.
He will sort it out.
