Garyble, that's more like it...........a sense of reality creeping in.
Glad to see the sp settling back down to shitty levels.
SNAFU.
Theres more chance of peace in the middle east than this share turning round.
12 more months of nascence, I fear.

I wonder which directors family member works/owns/invests in Meachers.
Or is that just being paranoid.

waveydavey - 19 Oct 2007 11:33 - 25184 of 27111

wow all these posts and share fluctuatin over a few k's of share dealing.
It's amazung that such small purchases/sells can and are havibng such an impact on this share.
Theres still NO NEWS.
familiar story.
Fed on shit and kept in the dark.
PM on his site reckons they've done a deal re FROGMAT, hence the distribution logistics deal.
well, personally until they flog anything but hot air -it's all bollocks and a moneypit.
Live in hope of one day seeing an RNS re an actual sale.

greekman - 19 Oct 2007 12:04 - 25185 of 27111

waveydavey,

I also think they must have done some sort of sales deal, but like you I won't believe anything till I see it in black and white. Even then after SEO's past record, I would need confirmation of detail.
Once bitten (well 10 times is more accurate) we should all be twice shy etc.

garyble - 19 Oct 2007 13:23 - 25186 of 27111

Whatever they've done, they appear to think it does not warrant an RNS. So perhaps it is simply as they've stated: outsorucing of the transport facility with potential {"jam tomorrow"} to encompass USA etc..

tweenie - 19 Oct 2007 18:19 - 25187 of 27111

someones mopping up the shares.

Mad Pad - 21 Oct 2007 16:10 - 25188 of 27111

...and someone's mopping up tears...

jaguar121 - 22 Oct 2007 11:35 - 25189 of 27111

Novamont V Mondi .......Could this be what the patent challenge is all about ????

waveydavey - 30 Oct 2007 08:54 - 25190 of 27111

The Starpol 3000 pate nts finally out. I'm sure it will make all the difference.
Now wheres that straighjacket.

tweenie - 30 Oct 2007 09:37 - 25191 of 27111

Just when I think owning this share cannot get any more depressing...................................

nyleve - 30 Oct 2007 09:49 - 25192 of 27111

You should be immune by now Tweenie......... only one blessing, it can't drop much further...... can it ????? I don't know tho !!!!

kimoldfield - 30 Oct 2007 10:16 - 25193 of 27111

I haven't seen the patent for Starpol 3000 but there is a publication dated 26.9.2007 at the European Patent Office of a patent application filed on 20.3.2006 for :-

"A container for a product such as potato crisps consists of two or more packets inside each other, each container or packet being of a biodegradable polymeric material, and at least two of the containers or packets have different permeability properties. For example a packet formed from a thermoplastic starch film may be enclosed within a packet formed from a poly lactic acid film. The container preferably provides a barrier to oxygen while the container preferably provides a barrier to moisture."

I hear a rumour that SEO have offered a new service to shareholders. Send your share certificate to them and they will seal it in one of their new crisp packets using their last Greenseal machine, which they are reluctant to put in the bin: they then return the packet to you for you to put in your compost heap with instructions to check it on a weekly basis to see which decomposes quicker, the packet or the certificate. If the certificate and all it represents biodegrades first SEO will send you a new packet containing dried bull dung which has the dual description of bull shit/tough shit.

garyble - 30 Oct 2007 10:32 - 25194 of 27111

Wavey,

Don't you mean "Bioplast-whatever!" as Starpol is no longer. Does that also mean that SEO HQ is now a white elephant, or simply a figment of our imagination?

tweenie - 30 Oct 2007 11:05 - 25195 of 27111

I had a look It's all greek to me , no sorry german.
Theres a translation on PM's site.
So I guess the patent is out.
Now all they have to do is sell the stuff.
and SEO have such a good record i selling stuff.LOL

lostalot - 30 Oct 2007 14:51 - 25196 of 27111

Where can I get confirmation from the company as to what patent is disputed, as I can't find it anyware ???

Mad Pad - 31 Oct 2007 09:48 - 25197 of 27111

You can't,short of ringing them up, but they wont tell you.

tweenie - 31 Oct 2007 19:01 - 25198 of 27111

Can't sell JACK S##T, but we can commision an art installation.
FFS sell something to someone then you can happily support the arts with money from the PROFITS not ASSETS.
Not happy.

hope the link works.

kimoldfield - 01 Nov 2007 15:25 - 25199 of 27111

Well, depending on how much the artist is getting paid Tweenie, it could be an astute move by SEO; cheaper than normal advertising? If it doesn't work they could always hang it up in their loo!

greekman - 01 Nov 2007 17:38 - 25200 of 27111

Well considering the shares are already down the pan, hanging the art work in the loo might be the best place for it.

kimoldfield - 01 Nov 2007 17:55 - 25201 of 27111

:o)

tweenie - 01 Nov 2007 18:27 - 25202 of 27111

I hate to admit it but I do like her work.
Though dealing with SEO might be the nail in her coffin as well.
