Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

That particular poll was again done using a self selected group who have signed up to be polled. You always get the activists that way. The one I quoted was by Comres and involved speaking to the general public and not just the activists,
Survation Poll
"Data Collection Method
The survey was conducted via online panel. Invitations to complete surveys were sent out to members of the panel."

Annual salaries would increase from £65,738 to £75,000

if MPs are there for their salary, it is better for us that they leave their job.
there are many dedicated individuals to do the job better, and not only for money!!!

this "gay marriage" nonsense
if most even if not everyone was happy enough with "civil partnerships", what is now the big deal?
if it is to put such partnerships into some sort of legal framework, again so what?
if such formalisation allows such couples to claim the same sort of tax relief and other attaching responsibilities and liabilities, rather as a "normal" marriage does, then i cannot see the objection

It could come in the future for everyone to have civil partnerships. It wasn't considered at present as it would have delayed the current legislation.
