Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

I like post 25223.
Hands on experience in real life situation is something our prime ministers lack.
They don't know what is going on outside their small, controlled world.

That means, by your logic, that Ed Balls is no economist as he did the same degree as Cameron at the same university.

Even with the 18% of voters forged the other day, UKIP would not a single seat!

The problem is that they are out of touch.
They don't have real life experience. Our princes are more normal people than them.

All these supposed problems in the Conservative party are very temporary. All parties go through this. The media is just jumping on it. In a few months as the economy grows the picture is going to change.

You will be right if the boys start changing course. They are not spending on infrastructure at all.

Actually, they are spending on infrastructure and have been doing so for the past year or two.
The funny thing is that it's only governments who have the balls to look upon spending as an investment. When it comes to normal households.....

He is great. Biking on the streets gave him enough exposure to real life issues. He will not come forward though.

Balls is no more an economist than Cameron. Don't forget that Labour had Alan Johnson as shadow Chancellor. He hasn't even got GCSE maths!

cant even take it when their is overwhelming evidence.
You stay in denial Hays just like Cameron, and we all know whats going to happen to him.
And yes Johnson was out of his depth hes admitted that to insiders but even a layman like him was far better than the present part time chancellor, probably the worst we have ever seen at nos 11.

Ask yourself why does Cameron keep wanting to avoid PMQs............ answer because Milliband beats him up everytime and labours lead increases everytime in the polls.

Cameron does not avoid PMQs unless he is on business. Why would he as he beats Miliband every time as anyone would.

That's fair enough, doods, each to their own and probably 90% of it is unadulterated crap, but I would say it's very good for live news stories because eye witnesses tweet what they've seen and you get a lot of stories appearing on Twitter before the mainstream press get hold of them. For instance, when the plane crash landed on the Hudson a few years back, there were photos from eye witnesses on Twitter straight away.
I also think it's very useful for traders as a kind of sentiment index because fellow traders will disseminate news releases within seconds and offer an opinion on Twitter as to whether they think that the news is good, bad or ugly. And if you want to know who's controlling a book, I can guarantee you'll find it on Twitter.
