Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

if you'd had the brains, though clearly you did not (nor i), then you would have been very surprised, though you might not have liked mixing with all those black, white and slant-eyed kids whose parents had inculcated aspirations to succeed
no, you're much happier being an inverted snob making a big song and dance about having to walk to school in bare feet and all that sort of crap - even it's not true
the politics of jealousy really do have a very nasty smell about them, and the proponents often just sanctimonious prigs - but not you of course

sticky - when you're in this sort of stupid frame, you're best ignored - akin to being sat on the naughty step when you were a child.... when you've learnt to behave, you may be allowed back

According to Google, Leeds Celtic is Leeds University American Football Club. Hmmm, wonder if Fishfinger can remember how old he was when he used to play for them???

I should quit this thread for a time if I was u,(thank god I am not)
U have shown yourself to be a very badly informed person who chooses to pontificate on a subject he knows F A about.
Inverted snobbery, I know plenty of left wing enthuiasts who love taking my money on the golf course, coupled with right wingers and all religions.
What you may well not understand is that gives others doubts about your views on things you may well know a lot about.
Re you comments and Tanker talking as he finds, that I have no trouble with, it is when he then call it facts. Facts being something that is correct not thought that cannot be sustained.

"If you look at the supposed 'role models' in football then you are really struggling to find any that you would want kids to look up to, whereas in golf at least there is a strong code of conduct and civilised 'role models'."

Not a very easy exam at 12 or 13.
Boris Johnson was a KS.
Even John Maynard Keynes (Economist founder of Keynesian economics so beloved of Labour was a KS).
The point is not to pass, but to have one of the highest scores to gain a King's Scholarship. And once again you are wrong as you are not invited to take the exam. Anyone can apply to take it.

is sticky still banished to the naughty step for being a total ass, then exposed as a seller of porky pies and worse?
just had to wade back - promise; shoes and socks off + rolled-up trousers (mason's garb!) - across piazza san marco to our hotel

on an almost totally different subject, are there any GB players (non-imports) who wouldqualify for a World X1?
I don't follow that game at all, but i'ld guess no more than 2 and perhaps not that many

I love Venice. I have lots of memories from there over the years. The last time I was there I took the kids and stayed on The Lido. We spent all day on the beach and then went across the lagoon to visit restaurants in the evening and walk around the canals. I first went with my parents when I was about 2 1/2. I drove there a couple of times years later and parked in the gigantic car park on the mainland. The last time was best with the kids. It was amazing to land at the airport, walk outside and get into a speed boat and seconds later to be whizzing across the lagoon to tie up at our hotel. There is nothing quite like it.

Goldfinger, your low level of intelligence amazes me. I can assure you I am not joining cynic, and as for a looser, well that depends on what you consider winners.
Horses....a bit of a horses arse, another original thought from you, at least what comes out of a horses arse is of value(if a gardiner) more than anything that comes out of yours.
Finished , now just reading not responding. You are not worth the trouble.

Stable we go back a long way but I'm failing to understand your logic here :
"but I am not going to just blame immigrants for all our problems. I also blame people like u who seemingly willnot or have not tried to assimilate people with color and faiths into this country."
Why the feck should we ????
They come here and and they should be prepared to abide with our laws surely .... imagine going to Saudi and saying feck u we gonna wear mini skirts and get rat arsed on a Saturday cos we got a Saudi passport !!!!
