Regardless of which party is in office. One thing you can be certain off is that there will be plenty of pricks on the front benches.

Just opened an early Xmas Cracker sent to me by PM1, it contained the usual pathetic joke. (Stanelco will be 35 by Xmas). Bah bl**dy humbug.
Oh well Merry Xmas to all anyway.

I suspect they've gone home with trays of - ( trays?). There can't be anyone doing anything there, can there?
No that's it Dir and others comotosed after eating the new degradable plates/packing - probably looked tastier than the "be kind to your tummy" food inside......Ugh what an outfit. Nearly choked.
- Automatic, you did well, presently I don't think my Broker will process such low-value items...so like many others we suffer in silence . . . . what a shambles, eh!
- or was that "valuation" 35 for 1p? Ho. Ho.

Compliments of the season to all you hardened(saddened)campaigners! Well I said to myself if SEO hit one quarter of a penny,by hook or by crook I was going to top up and bring my price per share down to 2p.After watching for several weeks this morning gave me the oppurtunity(call it an oppurtunity!!).
Thats me now, either s**t or bust.I'am bloody crackers(before anyone else mentions it).Good luck to all long term holders here and I wish you all a happy, healthy, peaceful and I hope bloody prosperous new year 2008. Cheers.

Why is it that so many punters fall into the trap of thinking that, because a share they hold has gone down in price significantly, they are doing the right thing by buying some more.

Blackdown is quite right, I admit I haven't checked this company lately but this stock is dangerously close to the precipice with the possible situation of another
Eurotunnel (at the end the existing shareholders will be left with chickenfeed).
I did own this stock a few years ago and would love to see this company make a
comeback.

Further to my previous post, this stock is starting to sound like the british version of the Alamo (texan-mexican hoobab), or Eurotunnel (Eagles version-Welcome to the Hotel California, you can check in but can never leave), (something like that)
This stock is in trouble and it is baffling that there are so many people still in this.

The question remains - what has changed in the last 9 months?
Precious little it seems.
New-ish CEO remains remarkably silent since his Strategic Review was presented to the Board on 25 May 2007. Us poor PIs got that 4 days later.
He has seen no reason to advise the market, let alone his employers (that's us folks), of anything at all since then - let alone why the share price has dropped more than 80% SINCE he took charge.
As the Company's year-end is on monday maybe he will issue a pre-close statement. It would be nice to be informed - whatever he has to say.
If this contempt for shareholders continues to be shown by silence there will be much noise at the AGM.
At the last AGM he was sporting a nice suntan. A suit of armour this time?

I fear this company looks like it will be taken over at sometime by another company
but don't hold your breath for a premium to whatever price this stock will sink to.
Turning this around will take some doing, if by any chances they give any inclination that they could achieve this then the price might jump up a little,
that will be the time to sell and get out, if it was me I'd bite the bullet as so to say
and get out now.

Newcomer to the thread suggesting baling out? If us long-term investors were the 'baling out' type, we would have done it a year back.
We're in for the entertainment value now. Or the possibility of a miracle.

If I was drunk all the time, I'd feel like joining you just for the fun of it, the trouble is I sober up far too quickly, if an investor is worried about this stock the best thing is to sell, if not then depending on the sort of loss or realising the loss (cgt wise) then perhaps the wait and see game is possibly the best thing but don't go and start kicking yourselves (oh! I wish I had sold, if only) should this stock go belly up.
