windys160.
No secret about the news. The 17th is the date for the appeal re the NICE recommendation. Once it's known who the appellant is and that it doesn't affect Btb (most likely) then all is clear for the official recommendation to be given, which should come in December or at the latest January.
No idea as to why the sell off other than the usual day traders piling in recently. This will happen as we nearer the 17th. Lots of speculators likely to push up the sp on the run up.
True investors will just ride out the ups and downs and hang on at least until the big orders start to roll in during the course of 2006. Some will take profits along the way though. I'm planning on holding longer term as I see great potential for the next couple of years at the very least.

The MM has widened the spread by 0.05p today from 2.21. / 2.27 to 2.22 / 2.33,
probably to stop day traders. Trades today 6.7m buys 2.7m sells. (1m was recorded as a sell but was in fact a buy today)
I have been told sell on the ups and buy back on the dips, as it could be a rocky ride upwards. Posters on the advfn are hoping for the moon by November end.

guru11: Yes, they are probably lunatics over on advfn whereas we are a more sober crowd, and when we scale the next rise, we should catch a glimpse of my new Ferrari.

My man in Reading says ULT is a sell, and to one could do worse than to put the proceeds in IDN. I believe that DMP may be worth a look next May, before the next set of results. On the ULT board some posters appear to be on it all day, they just don't have a life. Mind you if and I say if the orders start rolling in in big numbers then ULT will rise steadily, but they are dealing with the NHS which we all know that they are not flushed with funds, and with management taking months to make a decision on anything or on changes then ULT may have to wait for orders.
How many times if the NHS don't know what is wrong with patients do they say -
it is your age, or whatever. My wife can cure ashma, not just surpress the condition, the NHS need to be more effective. She also claims to be able to cure stomach ulcers, and is against organ transplants, saying that organs can be healed in certain cases. Effectiveness.

pension271 - I am not promoting ULT, in fact I sold half my holding today, and am considering buying into another one other than BUC, and DMP. There is nothing wrong with DMP. How many more companies have cash in the bank, higher eps, and no debt, and are capitalised at a small sum.
In fact what are you promoting?
Or do you just comment on other posters and not on stocks?
There is a lot of poster here that do that - Every time I post on ULT,
Optimiser2 pops up with a post - like a pop up.

I sold some ULT as I have to respect my man in Reading's view,
as he didn't become a millionaire through not being wise and clever.

Big day tomorrow in the ULT calender, an appeal hearing against the NICE FAD.
Out of interest, as a former member of various approvals organisations, I talked to the event organiser at NICE and was quite impressed with their arrangements, though they could not , of course, give anything away. I assume that a competitor has objected, possibly to delay full and final approval, but that should be revealed on their web site in the morning. If anyone from here is going, I hope they will report back.

from advfn
CONFIRMED
The appellant is ST Solutions and they're appealing for OC Fighter, which is NOT a competitor to Beating the Blues. In effect this means BtB now has a monopoly for the next 3 years.
